Desora was a Far Dareis Mai of the Musara sept of the Reyn Aiel. She had golden hair and blue eyes (LoC, Ch. 3; Ch. 26).
She always hid her smiles behind a hand, beautiful smiles, as Rand later notes (LoC, Ch. 3; Ch. 26).
Timeline
- She is among the Maidens guarding Rand in the courtyard of the Royal Palace and watching his performance with the sword (LoC, Ch. 1).
- She and the other Maidens accompany Rand and Taim to the farm that is to become the Black Tower (LoC, Ch. 3).
- She accompanies Rand and the Ogier to Shadar Logoth (LoC, Ch. 21).
- During a Whitecloak attack on Rand, Desora saves him from a crossbow bolt and dies (LoC, Ch. 26).
- Rand remembers her as one of the women that died for him (TPoD, Ch. 13).
