Overview

Director of Membership is an Executive level position. Tasks of this position vary and are focused on providing administration for the entire Department of Membership including Heads, Company Commanders, Mayor, Captains of Recruits and Soldiers, and Mistresses of Novices and Accepted. The Director will also be called upon to offer counsel and insight to the other Directors and Officers.

Chain of Command

The Director of Membership reports directly to the Keeper.

The Heads, Company Commanders, Mistress of Novices, Mistress of Accepted, Captain of Recruits, Captain of Soldiers and Mayor all report to the Director of Membership.

History

This role was created in June 2006, when the position of Master at Arms was retired and the Keeper's duties evolved into supervising all departments.

Until the 2010 Admin Meeting, the Hall was a general staff position under this Department of Membership and duties of the Director included selecting members of the Hall.
