Jancy Torfinn is a girl from Emond's Field (LoC, Ch. 10).

She is around fourteen years old. She has a high voice (LoC, Ch. 10).

Jancy has the inborn ability to channel. She is one of the girls that Alanna and Verin bring out of the Two Rivers to take to the White Tower. Rand sees her and the others at Culain's Hound in Caemlyn, where he speaks with them and then terrifies them with the news that he is the Dragon Reborn. After Rand leaves, Jancy keeps demanding piercingly that someone tell her that Rand was lying, and that it was all just a trick. When Bode says that they must leave Caemlyn immediately, Jancy argues that she wants to see the city, even though she is still trembling. Alanna and Verin make the girls go to their rooms, and have tea with honey and brandy sent to them to help calm them down (LoC, Ch. 10; Ch. 11).

Jancy and the other Two Rivers girls arrive in the rebel Aes Sedai camp (TPoD, Ch. 30).
