General
Maderin is a prosperous town in Altara, somewhat larger than Jurador. Inside the town are many thee and four story buildings, mostly brick, with tile roofs lining stone paved streets. It is walled, with farms and olive groves right up to the walls, including thatched barns. The town is under Seanchan control, but the people there do not resent them.
