;How was your time as Citizen/Novice/Accepted?

===Mentoring===
Oh, I have loved my time at those ranks. I don't remember all too much about Citizenhood, I do remember that I was rather shy and still not very confident. Then, when I was raised to Novice... It was the time of my life :D I think of all the ranks I liked my time as Novice best. I had an awesome time, getting to know people better (and spamming my head off, shhh!!).
+
;Mentor
When I was raised to Accepted... I knew what I wanted :p. It was fun and it was great to mean a bit more to the site. I had a great time guesting, even though I didn't guest long.

;Why did you choose Green?
+
==Tower Sworn Interview==
It was my home. Although Green isn't the most active Ajah, it always appealed to me most. I got to know the Green Aspirants and the Aes Sedai at the time and I felt that we had a real click. That was important to me. When I started guesting I found out that the Greens weren't too active in their Sitting Room either, but when you post a thread yourself you always get a quick reply, warm and loving replies, whatever the thread's about. The Greens are all wonderful, warm, strong and passionate ladies and I am more than proud to call myself an Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah. Mind you, I didn't join the Ajah just for the ladies - although they are grand, if I had felt the Ajah didn't fit me, I'd not have decided to join it.

*'''Why did you choose Brown?'''
 +
I get depressed when I cannot exercise my brain. I love to read, I love to contemplate the world (philosophy is also a major interest of mine). I'm an analyst, always have been. I think knowledge is power - and powerful I am in a game of Trivial Pursuit.

;Do you like to party, love men and are you a sucker for fashion and make up?
+
*'''Are you like the Browns in the books? Do you love books and have a tendency to daydream?'''
I party... Once in a while. I love men *and* women and I love fashion - I care less about make up but I do wear it every day.
+
In some ways, yes, in some ways, not at all. I'm not a dusty type. I always figured the Browns to look a bit haphazard, unkempt, like female Albert Einsteins. I love make up and fashion. So in that, no, I'm not like the Browns in the books. But yes, I do love books and I do daydream a lot, and can totally drift off when listening to music.

 +
*'''Do you have a favorite Brown Ajah character from the novels?'''
 +
Clearly, Verin. She was secretly the most bad ass of all characters, much more bad ass than the Greens and Reds, and wasn't all in our faces about it.

;To whom are you bonded, if you're bonded?
+
*'''Who is your favorite character? Favorite nation?'''
I'm bonded to Anduin of Val'Cueran.
+
I'm a die hard Mat fan. He'll be my favorite forever, though Egwene comes in second. As for nation, I always loved the complex culture of the Seanchan.

 +
*'''How were you introduced to the series?'''
 +
My ex boyfriend introduced me to them.

;What things do you do for TV.net?
+
*'''Favorite bad guy/gal?'''
I made these interviews possible. I've been moderator for Mundane World between July 1st-December 31st 2008. I've also been Heart of the Green Ajah during the same term. Right now I'm working on several projects within the Green Ajah, among which our Green Ajah HQ.
+
I always liked Moghedien's story line, as well as Lanfear and her incarnations.

 +
*'''If you were set down in Randland, who/what would you see yourself as? An Aes Sedai? Innkeeper? Seanchan Captain?'''
 +
I'd probably a confused bystander, but I prefer the thought of being a Brown Sedai, gliding through the Tower and smoothing my skirts, playing political games with the other Ajahs and the rest of the world without them even noticing.

;How did you get to read the Series?
+
*'''Seanchan or Shara?'''
My ex was absolutely fascinated by the books. I wondered what they were about, picked them up and never let go again. I did quickly let go of the ex, though.
+
Seanchan. I'm kind of sad though we never learned as much about Shara as Seanchan. It seems like a very interesting nation.

 +
*'''Asmodean or Sammael?'''
 +
Asmodean. I liked his affection for music.

;Who is your mentee, if you have one?
+
*'''How did you find TarValon.Net and what convinced you to stay and become Tower Sworn?'''
Accepted Kiana, Novice Shariyan and Novice Amaryla.
+
Actually, I was browsing on Youtube one day in February 2007 and found some WoT related videos, and in the comments a member of the site mentioned it.

 +
*'''What do you do in "real life"?'''
 +
Currently looking for a "real" job, I'm a criminologist. In the mean time, I keep myself occupied building websites and being editor in chief of my online film magazine, FilmInquiry.com.

;Who is your favorite character of the Series? Favorite Nation?
+
*'''What language(s) do you speak?'''
Definitely Mat. I liked Tuon lots too. And Aviendha, she rocks. My favorite nation would be the nation of the Aiel.
+
Dutch is my native tongue, but I speak English on a bilingual level.

 +
*'''Do you have any hobbies?'''
 +
Writing is my biggest passion. Also, watching movies and TV shows. I love music, and to cook. Another major passion of mine is traveling and exploring the world.

;Have you ever attended any Real Life Functions? Did you like them if you did, and why? (Why do you think people should come to any future functions?)
+
*'''Do you have a pet?'''
I went to EuroParty 2008. It was TERRIFIC. I had a great time and got to meet people I had long wished to meet. We had so much fun just talking, hanging out... And friday night beerpong absolutely rocked. I would absolutely go to EuroParty again, the vibe's really relaxed.
+
I have a Bengal cat named Poh, he's more like a familiar than a pet. If he could, he'd go with me everywhere.

 +
*'''Aside from The Wheel of Time, what are a few of your favorite books/series?'''
 +
The Hunger Games, Hugh Howey's Wool series, Nicole Rafter's books (criminology/movies), Brandon Sanderson's works, The Dresden Files, The Lunar Chronicles, The Kingkiller Chronicles.

;What kind of music do you like?
+
*'''What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?'''
I like all kinds of music, except for music like gangster rap, hip hop in general, r&b... I'm especially fond of electronical music. I like rock/metal, a bit of pop, jazz and classical.
+
Dolphin trainer, vet, psychiatrist, movie director.

 +
*'''Party or lounging at home?'''
 +
Lounging at home

;What are your favorite movies?
+
*'''Tea or coffee?'''
I'm a big fan of movies. I even wanted to be a director, when I was little. I think my all time favorite is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. But I like lots other movies too. We should elaborate on it in a pm, if you are interested :p. I'm always up for a chat!
+
Coffee in the morning, tea during the rest of the day.

  • Why did you choose Brown?
