Stevan Gedarien

The full name was not recorded in the main series, but was given in the Wheel of Time Companion. Other information about the character is also included in the Companion, but we did not use it in the TarValon.Net Library.

Stevan is Demira Eriff's Warder. He is Cairhienin, slender, with grey streaking his temples. He is twenty years younger than Demira, though he tries to act like her father. When she is attacked, she worries that this will give him the high ground in his battle to be overprotective. He disapproves of her plan not to retaliate immediately as he never lets anyone walk away from hurting her (LoC, Ch. 46).

Timeline

• Stevan travelled to Salidar after the Tower split (LoC, Ch. 41).
• Stevan left Salidar as part of the Salidar embassy to Rand (LoC, Ch. 41).
• Stevan arrived in Caemlyn and stayed in The Crown of Roses (LoC, Ch. 41).
• Stevan virtually drags Berenicia to Demira when she is attacked by "Aiel" (LoC, Ch. 46).
• Stevan accompanies Demira when she escorts the Two Rivers girls to the Salidar Aes Sedai (LoC, Ch. 49).
• It is not known if Demira was one of the two sisters that joined the rebels two days before they Traveled to Tar Valon (TPoD, Ch. 30).
