Telabin is the Lord of Bethal in Amadicia. Alliandre stays in his palace while visiting the town on a tour of the south of the country (TPoD, Ch. 8). When Alliandre goes to swear fealty to Perrin, she sneaks out through a seldom used gate, with Telabin believing she is keeping private in his gardens (TPoD, Ch. 10).
