Setting: Sienda
Point of view: Nynaeve
Nynaeve and Elayne wake up in The Light of Truth, one of the inns in Sienda, Amadicia. They had decided to leave the town for Tear that day, when Galad appears. Dressed in the Child of the Light fashion, he offers Elayne to take her to Caemlyn where she, in his opinion, belongs.
Elayne says that she has to think about it and when Galad leaves their table, he drags Nynaeve upstairs, telling her that they have to leave as fast as possible. Now that Galad is a Whitecloak officer, he is probably deciding which would be the right thing to do: to escort his sister back to Caemlyn or to tell the other Children that they both were initiates of the White Tower - which would lead to an execution in Amadicia.
When Thom and Juilin enter their room, Thom tells Elayne and Nynaeve that Galad is watching the inn. After some contemplation, Nynaeve proposes to use Valan Luca's menagerie to hide.
