The Great Hunt is the second book in Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time Series, first published on November 15, 1990 by Tor Books. Originally, the book is issued in one volume, consisting of a prologue and 50 chapters. However, in 2004 a new issue was released, into two separate volumes called "The Hunt Begins" and "New Threads in the Pattern". The artwork for the two volumes was again made by Charles Keegan.

Plot

While Egwene and Nynaeve have to start their training in the White Tower, Rand, Mat, and Perrin go on a hunt for the Horn of Valere that leads them to the other side of the continent. Read the brief plot summary here: Brief Plot Summary.
