Ananda is slender, with black hair falling to her waist. While Min is in the White Tower, she saw Ananda's halo, which was sickly brown, shriveled, and split by rotting fissures that collapsed and widened as they decayed. Min decided against telling Ananda what she had seen because this future could not be changed. When Siuan was deposed, Ananda was killed in the fighting.

Annharid joined the rebel Aes Sedai in Salidar; her loyalty is to Egwene, the rebel Aes Sedai's Amyrlin Seat. She was sent, as part of a group of infiltrators, back to the White Tower to spread the rumor that the Red Ajah set up Logain as a false Dragon. She was also chosen to spy on Tar Valon, the White Tower, and to report her findings. Exposed by Zerah Dacan, she was then questioned by Pevara end Seaine to uncover her intentions. Annharid swore obedience to Doesine, Pevara, Saerin, Seaine and Yukiri on the Oath Rod and has committed to helping them hunt down the Black Ajah, specfically by spying on Atuan. She is remaining in the White Tower.

Atuan Larisett is publicly a sister of the Yellow Ajah, but is secretly a sister of the Black Ajah. A Taraboner, she is considered pretty and possesses dark hair that is braided to her waist. She has bonded no Warder. She was an Accepted when Tamra Ospenya was Amyrlin, and as an Accepted was a part of Tamra's attempt to find the Dragon Reborn. Atuan is a teacher in the White Tower and told Elayne that it is now beyond the power of the White Tower to accomplish building anything like the Stone of Tear. She was revealed by Talene and is now spied on by Annharid. She is located in the White Tower.

Beldemaine is Arafellin, and is described as plump with bells in her hair. Her loyalty lies with Egwene. She witnessed Nynnaeve Heal Siuan and Lean of their stilling, which has great significance to her.

Berenicia Morsad, also plump, has grave eyes indicative of somberness and introspection. As a Shienararian, she is impressed that Lord Agelmar received Rand. She joined the Salidar Aes Sedai and is loyal to Egwene. Berenicia is a member of the embassy of the Little Tower sent to Rand. When she arrived in Caemlyn, she was granted rooms in The Crown of Roses. She is tasked with escorting the prospective novices from the Two Rivers to the Rebel Tower.

Carniele: After Siuan's deposition, Carniele remained loyal to the White Tower in Tar Valon. She is one of fifty Aes Sedai sent by Elaida to the Black Tower, which were captured and subsequently bonded by Logain and his Asha'man. She Healed Toviene on Logain's command after the other Aes Sedai members of the envoy injured him.

Chesmal Emry is both a sister of the Yellow and Black Ajahs; the other sisters that form her heart are Amico and Rianna. Tall and handsome, Chesmal hails from Ghealdan. She has a stern face and dark hair, and her dark eyes can be cold, stern, and intense. Though Moghedien calls it "some small ability with Healing", Chesmal is considered one of the most talented Healers in years. She has the ability to either Heal or slay with saidar instantly. She participated in the questioning and slaughter of Tamra Ospenya, the reigning Amyrlin during Rand al'Thor's birth. Chesmal also declared that Meilyn Sedai died in her bed while sleeping. This is a lie, because Siuan waited in Meilyn's room all night, but Meilyn never arrived. Chesmal also manipulated the Red Ajah into murdering Sierin Vayu, who desired Chesmal's arrest. Chesmal is one of the thirteen Aes Sedai of the Black Ajah able to flee the White Tower with ter'angreal in their possession. Later, when Moghedien assumed control over the group with Liandrin, Chesmal is ordered to hunt for Nynaeve. Although terrified of the Foraken, she Healed Moghedien, who had been wounded in Tel'aran'rhiod by Brigitte. Chesmal left Samara and went to Caemlyn to find Elayne and Nynaeve.

Corele Hovian is Murandian, and although boyishly slim is still considered beautiful. Thick black eyebrows fit her raven hair, and an upturned nose is matched with sparkling blue eyes. Corele is known to be dressed neatly anytime and is usually in good humor, although she can tend to arrogance. She bonded Damer Flinn, an Asha'man who is a talented Healer. Corele is loyal to Egwene and the Rebel Tower, but has also sworn fealty to Rand. She aligned herself with Cadsuane and accompanies her everywhere from their first meeting. She followed Cadsuane from the Sun Palace to the palace of Lady Arilyn. Her excellent skill in Healing allowed her to aid in Samitsu's attempt to Heal Rand after he was gouged by Padan Fain's daggar. Later, she also tried to Heal Alanna when she collapsed, but with no effect. She followed Rand to Far Madding with Cadsuane and other Aes Sedai. With Sarene and Damer, she defended Rand and Nynaeve at Shadar Logoth and successfully defeated Demandred.

Desandre, a willowy woman, is loyal Elaida. She is part of Elaida's envoy to the Black Tower; Desandre and Lemai are the strongest Aes Sedai in this unit. She shares her rage directed at Tovein with the other Aes Sedai who were captured and bonded by Logain and his Asha'man. After Toveine lets Desandre and Lemai take over the lead, Desandre ordered the other Aes Sedai to be cordial with their respective Asha'man in hopes of lulling them into trust.

Edesina Azzedin, slender and handsome with waist length black hair, is loyal to Egwene. When Min, Siuan, and Leane arrived in Salidar, and she stopped Faolain from pestering Min, Min had a viewing that she will be captured by the Seanchen and leashed, but also that she will escape. Logain's condition angered and disappointed her because she could not do anything for him. When she was sent as an emmisary to Tarabon with Afara and Guisin, she was taken as damane and kenneled in the attic of the Tarasin Palace in Ebou Dar. Mat noticed her as she was being walked in the stableyard, and they planned an escape. The escape would not have been possible if she had been broken by the a'dam. She fled Ebou Dar with Mat, and they took refuge in Valan Luca's circus. While she was contained in a wagon with two other Aes Sedai and three sul'dam, she sensed massive channeling to the north. She channels freely, despite Mat's warnings that the Seanchen will find them. She also disregarded Mat's warnings when she walked with Bethamin and Seta in Jurador, which exposed her ageless face. She was last mentioned in Jurador.

Farellien: remained in the White Tower after Siuan's deposition, being loyal to Elaida. At Alviarin's urging, she, Doraise, and Kiyoshi are rewarded with a fine horse; they had been exemplory models of preserving the law. This favoritism by Elaida created strife and discord among the Ajahs.

Gelarna

Larissa Lyndel is bony with a plain face that almost overcomes the Aes Sedai agelessness. After Siaun's deposition, she joined the rebel Aes Sedai in Salidar. Eagerly, she demanded an explanation and demonstration after Nynaeve Healed stilling, eager to learn this new weave. She intends to break Nynaeve's block, and after Nynaeve demonstrated the weave, she viewed Larissa as contemptible and hateful.

Ludice Daneen, lean and grim-faced, wove bright beads into her long Taraboner braids and was reputed to have a strict interpretation of the law. Chosen by Tamra to search for the Dragon Reborn, she was the fourth seeker to leave the Tower; the Black Ajah murdered her shortly after. She had worn the shawl over an hundred years.

Magla Daronos has blacksmith's shoulders and is Illianer by her accent. A Sitter before the breaking of the White Tower, she retained her position when she joined the rebel Aes Sedai in Salidar and voted in support of Egwene as Amyrlin. She was among the Yellow sisters who demanded Nynaeve to demonstrate her weave to Heal stilling. As a follower of Romanda she voted against war with White Tower and instead suggested diplomacy; she became frustrated when negotiations did not succeed. When it was proposed that the rebel Tower form an alliance with the Black Tower due to the accomplishment at Shadar Logoth, she reacted viscerally and refused to stand for the greater consensus. She continued to stall attempts to communicate with the Black Tower.

Musarin

Narenwin Bardais a slight woman with a square face. The typical Aes Sedai serenity is not associated with her, but she is kind and quiet. One day a week, she encourages children to bring pets to the Tower so that she can Heal them. She is loyal to Elaida, and as the eyes-and-ears of the Yellow Ajah asked Ronde Macura to report on Nynaeve and Elayne or capture them, if possible. Later, she sent Narenwin to Gawyn's base in Dorlan with orders for him and the Aes Sedai there.

Nisao Dachen is diminutive with hard eyes and is known for frowning. After Siuan's deposition, she traveled with her Warder, Sarin Hoigan, to join the rebel Aes Sedai in Salidar. She refused to enable Nynaeve's attempts to heal stilling, considering them to be foolish until she witnessed Nynaeve succeed. Fascinated with mental illnesses, she nervously aided Myrelle Heal Lan when he arrived in Salidar. Together, they concealed his presence for twenty days, until Egwene discovered them. Both Myrelle and Nisao swore fealty to Egwene at this time. From that moment, Nisao frequently accompanied Egwene, and scouted Tar Valon with her. She is a member of Egwene's Council and also occasionally advised the Yellow Sitters. She did not share Magla's desire to negotiate with Elaida, and became annoyed with Magla when she suggested it. Nisao revealed that both Kairen and Setagana, another of her Warders, had been murdered, and that Setagana was killed with saidin. When Egwene proposed to turn Tar Valon's harbor chains to cuendillar, she advised against it.

Pritalle Nerbaijan, Saldean, but with only a slight Saldean nose, has green eyes. She is loyal to Elaida and the White Tower, and is noted as having no Warder. She is close with Atuan, another Yellow sister.

Romanda Cassin, solid and handsome, she wears her white-streaked gray hair twisted into a bun. She has dark eyes and a soprano voice, but rarely smiles. It is thought that she may be as old as Cadsuane. In 973 N.E., she resigned her Seat in the Hall, a rank she had held for almost eighty years. She again sat in the Hall, and was the oldest Sitter in the rebel Hall. Romanda was the last to stand for the raising of Egwene to Amyrlin, as she knew that she was the most likely candidate if Egwene failed to win support. She did not give Egwene the respect Egwene deserved as Amyrlin, viewing her as a child that could still be controlled and wrestled with Lelaine and Sheriam for influence over her. Meri, Egwene's maid, was a spy for Romanda. When Egwene raised Accepted to Aes Sedai on her own, she became furious although she offered Faolain and Theodrin, two of the raised, protection. After Nynaeve Healed Logain, she called for him to be gentled again. She also demanded that all sisters must submit to questioning concerning the Black Ajah and personally interviewed two sisters: Adelas and Vandene. For the negotiations with the Andorans and Murandians, she gave Egwene fine clothing and jewels as befits the Amyrlin; it is unsurprising that she became furious when Egwene contradicted her wishes during the meeting. In the vote for war between the two Towers, she votes against it and is one of the last to vote for an alliance with the Black Tower. She disliked Sheriam's group, believing that they had too much influence with the Sitters. After Egwene, both she and Lelaine were the strongest Aes Sedai in the rebel Tower, and she swayed Magla, Soroiya, and Varilin to follow her lead. She opposed Lelaine, frequently vying with her over significant issues and small; most notably, both began a power struggle in Egwene's absence. Elaida wanted Romanda stilled as both punishment and example to the rebels.

Ryma Galfrey is a slim, elegant woman that carried herself regally with pale blue eyes, dark hair, and haughty face. A similar height to Moiraine, she was an Accepted with her, Siuan and Sheriam. She announced both the Aiel retreat from the Shining Walls and Tamra Ospenya's death. Years later, she was captured by the Seanchen at Falme, leashed as da'mane, and renamed Pura. Egwene meets her when she is captured, and asks her to remember her name, but she had been broken after fighting her sul'dam and the a'dam. She was questioned by High Lady Suroth as to how the White Tower controlled the Dragon Reborn. Alwhin, her sul'dam, took her to Ebou Dar; they then traveled with High Lady Suroth and Queen Tylin on a tour of Altara.

Salita Toranes, younger than seventy, has been an Aes Sedai for thirty-five years. Tairen, with a round face, her skin is almost as dark as one of the Sea Folk. Loyal to Egwene, she was a Sitter for the Yellow in the rebel Hall and witnessed Nynaeve Heal Siuan and Leane, and demanded another demonstration afterward; she also observes the making of cuendillar. She advises Egwene to solve some financial problems by a petition. When the Hall votes for war with the White Tower and an alliance with the Black Tower, she supports both.

Sedore, round-faced, frosty, and elegant, her arrogance is notable even among the Yellow. A Sitter before the breaking of the Tower, she retained her Seat in the White Tower. Even though she was loyal to Elaida, she was forced to scrub floors and work as a laundress for five days as penance. Elaida thought of more punishments for her arrogance, including sending her to the Mistress of Novices Silviana or cleaning the cesspits.

Shanelle has a dark, pretty face, and striking pale blue eyes; she joined the rebel Aes Sedai after the breaking of the Tower. She was a witness when Nynaeve Healed Siuan and Leane.

Shemerin is a slightly plump woman who never mastered the serenity of an Aes Sedai, and anxiety can often be discerned in her yes. She can be flighty and fluttery by Aes Sedai standards, and taught Nynaeve the Yellow Ajah signs, sure that Nynaeve would choose Yellow. After Siuan's deposition she remained loyal to the White Tower, and became a part of Elaida's Council. When Elaida recognizes Rand al'Thor as the Dragon Reborn, she collapsed and began weeping. As an example for her weakness, Elaida arrested her and demoted her to Accepted, which was against Tower law. Shemerin fled the White Tower after this.

Suana Dragand, as Head of the Yellow Ajah, is called First Weaver by Yellow sisters. She served as Sitter for forty years before she stepped down; when the Tower breaks she chooses to remain in Tar Valon and reclaims her Seat in the Hall, which was an unusual decision especially for one who had recently stepped down. Seaine noticed her meeting with the other Ajah Heads, and wondered why they were meeting in secret. She openly supported negotiations with the rebel Tower during a meeting with Elaida and the other Sitters. Alviarin believes that Suana is not Black Ajah.

Therva Maresis, with her long nose and slender form, is relatively weak but is an expert at reading residues. She is loyal to Egwene, and witnessed Nynaeve Heal Siuan and Leane. Because of her skill, she was part of those sent to investigate the One Power eruption; they found only a crater where Shadar Logoth once was. She saw huge quantities of both saidar and saidin that were used to form unknown weaves. They returned to the rebel Tower and she reported the findings to the Hall.

Yuan, a slim woman with gray eyes, represented the Yellow Ajah during Moiraine's testing for the shawl. She was displeased with Elaida because of the sister's attempt to cause Moiraine's failure during the last stage of the test.

Zenare Ghodar, slightly plump and haughty, joined the rebel Aes Sedai in Salidar. She witnessed Nynaeve Heal Suian and Leane, and was one of those who demanded repeated demonstrations of the weave afterward.
