The Triumph of Logic

Author: Toral Delvar

Characters: Mat, Joline, Teslyn, Falion, Ispan

Setting: Ebou Dar

Points of view: Mat, Joline, Falion

Mat's point of view

Mat returns to the Wandering Woman, concerned about what Tylin has planned for him. He sends Vanin to watch Carridin and is told of a fog that killed people. Concerned about Olver, he returns to his room, where he is attacked, but he kills the man. After telling Jasfer and Setalle about it, he finds a note in his pocket, telling him to warn Elayne and Nynaeve that they are still in danger.

Joline's point of view

Joline and Teslyn argue about Elayne and Nynaeve and whether to send them back to the Tower to get back in Elaida's good books. Joline is content to wait until Elaida is deposed, but does not say this to Teslyn.

Falion's point of view

Falion kills a Wise Woman while questioning her. She argues with Ispan, saying there is no cache and the Forsaken must be mistaken. She suggests that if they could capture Nynaeve, that would please Moghedien just as much.
