Summary
Mat's Point of View:
Setting: Ebou Dar
Characters: Mat, Vanin, Setalle
Mat returns to the Wandering Woman, concerned about what Tylin has planned for him. He sends Vanin to watch Carridin and is told of a fog that killed people. Concerned about Olver, he returns to his room where he is attacked; he kills the man. After telling Jasfer and Setalle about it, he finds a note in his pocket telling him to warn Elayne and Nynaeve that they are still in danger.
Joline's Point of View:
Setting: the Tarasin Palace
Joline and Teslyn argue about Elayne and Nynaeve and whether to send them back to the Tower to get back in Elaida's good books. Joline is content to wait until Elaida is deposed, but does not say this to Teslyn.
Falion's Point of View:
Setting: Ebou Dar
Characters: [[[Falion]], Ispan
Falion kills a Wise Woman while questioning her. She argues with Ispan, saying there is no cache and the Forsaken must be mistaken. She suggests that if they could capture Nynaeve, then that would please Moghedien just as much.
