Annual Raisings

A list of the known Raisings per year. This list is incomplete, especially in the early years, as much information from those days has been lost.

2001

The Tower was formed in 2001. Thirteen people were raised Aes Sedai, of whom at least two, Eleyan Teyal Al'Landerin and Gwendolyne Manshiera were never Accepted or Novices. Eight people are known to have been raised Accepted, of whom all but one, Melana al'Cairera were raised Aes Sedai the same year. Fourteen people are known to have been raised Gaidin and eleven people raised to Soldier. It is believed that all the people raised Gaidin had to spend at least some time as a Soldier or recruit, but this is not known for certain.

2002

Twenty-six people were raised Aes Sedai, and thirty-eight were raised Accepted. Seventeen people were raised Gaidin, and sixteen people raised to Soldier.

2003

Forty-nine people were raised Aes Sedai, and forty-three were raised Accepted. Twenty-one people were raised Gaidin, and twenty-eight people raised to Soldier.

2004

Sixteen people were raised Aes Sedai, and thirty-three were raised Accepted. Fifteen people were raised Gaidin, and eleven people raised to Soldier.

2005

Thirty-five people were raised Aes Sedai, and forty-three were raised Accepted. Seven people were raised Gaidin, and twenty people raised to Soldier.

2005 saw the Tower's first two demotions, one from Aes Sedai to Accepted and one from Gaidin to Soldier.

2006

Fifty-three people were raised Aes Sedai, and forty-seven were raised Accepted. Twenty-four people were raised Gaidin, and twenty-three people raised to Soldier.

Three Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted.

2007

Forty-six people were raised Aes Sedai, and forty-seven were raised Accepted. Eleven people were raised Gaidin, and thirty-three people raised to Soldier.

Five Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted, and two Gaidin to Soldiers.

2008

Thirty-nine people were raised Aes Sedai, and thirty-three were raised Accepted. Nineteen people were raised Gaidin, and twenty-one people raised to Soldier.

Five Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted.

2009

Thirty-four people were raised Aes Sedai, and thirty-nine were raised Accepted. Fourteen people were raised Gaidin, and eleven people raised to Soldier.

Eight Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted.

2010

Twenty-seven people were raised Aes Sedai, and twenty-one were raised Accepted. Thirteen people were raised Gaidin, and twenty people raised to Soldier.

Four Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted.

2011

Thirty people were raised Aes Sedai, and twenty-five were raised Accepted. Fourteen people were raised Gaidin, and fourteen people raised to Soldier.

Eleven Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted.

2012

Twenty-two people were raised Aes Sedai, and twenty were raised Accepted. Nine people were raised Gaidin, and twelve people raised to Soldier.

Two Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted, and one Gaidin to Citizen.

2013

Seventeen people were raised Aes Sedai, and thirteen were raised Accepted. Seven people were raised Gaidin, and eight people raised to Soldier.

Five Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted.

2014

Twenty people were raised Aes Sedai, and seven people raised Accepted. Four people were raised Gaidin and four people to Soldier.

Nine Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted.

2015

Fifteen people were raised Aes Sedai, and seven were raised Accepted. One person were raised Gaidin, and four people raised to Soldier.

Eight Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted, and one Aes Sedai demoted to Soldier. Three Gaidin demoted to Accepted.

2016

Twelve people were raised Aes Sedai, and three were raised Accepted. Three people were raised Gaidin. No Soldiers were raised.

Three Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted, and two Aes Sedai demoted to Soldiers.

2017

Ten people were raised Aes Sedai, and six were raised Accepted. Three people were raised Gaidin, and three people raised to Soldier.

Two Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted, and one Aes Sedai demoted to Soldier.

2018

Thirteen people were raised Aes Sedai, and six were raised Accepted. Three people were raised Gaidin, and four people raised to Soldier.

One Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted, and two to Citizen. Two Gaidin demoted to Soldier, and one to Accepted.

2019

Nine people were raised Aes Sedai, and three were raised Accepted. One person was raised Gaidin, and four people raised to Soldier.

One Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted, and one Gaidin to Soldier.

2020

Four people were raised Aes Sedai, and six were raised Accepted. Three people were raised Gaidin, and one to Soldier.

One Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted.

2021

Six people were raised Aes Sedai, and seven were raised Accepted. One person was raised Gaidin, and two to Soldier.

Seven Aes Sedai demoted to Accepted, one to Soldier, and one to Citizen. One Gaidin demoted to Soldier. All of them chose to return to Senior Membership when the opportunity was given (when the new Unaffiliation procedure was announced).

2022

Ten people were raised Aes Sedai, and nine were raised Accepted. No Gaidin were raised. Seven people were raised to Soldier.

2023

Six people were raised Aes Sedai, and three were raised Accepted. One person was raised Gaidin. No Soldiers were raised.
