Darea Candwin is a girl from the Two Rivers who can channel (LoC, Ch. 10).
Verin and Alanna bring her and many other girls out of the Two Rivers to train in the Tower; when Rand happens upon them in Caemlyn, he frightens the girls by telling them he is the Dragon Reborn and channelling (LoC, Ch. 10). Verin sends Darea and the other girls upstairs to their rooms to calm down and has a maid bring them tea with honey and brandy in it (LoC, Ch. 11).
Kairen Stang and an unnamed Aes Sedai escort Darea and the other Two Rivers girls to Murandy, where they join the Salidar Aes Sedai and become novices (TPoD, Ch. 30).
