General
Verdin is a squadman in the Band of the Red Hand (LoC, Ch. 40).
He accompanies Mat into Salidar when Mat goes looking for Elayne and Egwene (LoC, Ch. 38). When they discover there are no rooms in Salidar, Verdin, Mat and the others rent a room in a stable (LoC, Ch. 44).
He later goes with Faile and the Horn of Valere and helps defend against a beast from the blight (AMoL, Ch. 35).
