Bassane is one of the Warders of Merise of the Green Ajah (WH, Ch. 23). He is short, wide and very tan; he is from Cairhien (CoT, Ch. 23).
Timeline
- Bassane accompanies Merise when she goes to Far Madding with Cadsuane (WH, Ch. 23).
- Bassane accompanies Rand and Merise to Shadar Logoth in the attempt to cleanse saidin; he scouts the forest along with Lan and Nethan (WH, Ch. 35).
- Bassane goes with Rand, Cadsuane and Merise to Lord Algarin's manor in Tear to hide; he watches Jahar and Lan practice swords (CoT, Ch. 23).
- Bassane and Merise are with Rand when he is ambushed by Semirhage (KoD, Ch. 23).
- Bassane accompanies Merise when she visits the Salidar Aes Sedai to bring them Rand's offer of letting them bond Asha'man (KoD, Ch. 27).
