General

Elienda was a Maiden of the Spear. She was tall with wide shoulders and looked almost motherly (WH, Ch. 6).

In her opinion it is wrong to make wetlanders gai'shain, but she does not think even Shaido would break custom so far as to harm gai'shain (WH, Ch. 6).

Perrin saw her knock a man down with her fist once (WH, Ch. 6).

Timeline

• Although not directly mentioned at the time, Elienda Travels with Sulin and the other Maidens in Perrin's group to Ghealdan (ACoS, Ch. 2, Ch. 6).

• After Faile was kidnapped, she went scouting for her (WH, Ch. 2).

• Elienda returned with Alliandre's dress in a bundle, which indicated that Faile and the ones with her were made gai'shain. She told Perrin that Bain and Chiad are there to show the other women how to be meek until they can be rescued (WH, Ch. 6).

• She returned from scouting with Elyas to report to the Wise Ones that they found the captives in a large town (Malden) forty miles to the east (CoT, Ch. 8).

• She was killed during the attack on the Shaido sentries north of Malden (KoD, Ch. 29).
