History of the Gray Ajah

General
One of the Ajahs originally Headed by our Amyrlin Seat, under the handle of Carylin. The Gray Ajah has been a continuous presence on Tar Valon throughout many various roles.
There are currently 27 people raised to Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah. 21 have changed Ajahs and 27 retired from the site. There are currently 1 Accepted aspired to the Gray Ajah.

Leadership
The Ajah is currently led by Maibella Sedai.

2021
2021 saw changes in leadership within the Ajah, many awards given to Gray Ajah members and increasing the Ajah's numbers by THREE new aspirants!
Ajah Positions
- March
Maibella Sedai became the new Head Clerk.
- April
Marivea al'Corriyi became the new Heart of the Ajah
Ashara Koh'inor and Imzadi Hopewind became Sitters for the Spring term
- September
Chiyuki Nohara became the new Heart of the Ajah
- October
Imzadi Hopewind and Siera al'Cere were the chosen Sitters for the Fall term
Tower Positions
- March
Siera al'Cere became the Marketing Project Manager.
- December
Siera al'Cere became the Social Media Manager.
Awards
Two Gray Aes Sedai received an Amyrlin Award this year! Ilverin Matriam is Volunteer of the Year and Siera al'Cere is the Member of the Year!
Siera al'Cere was awarded with the Keeper's Award for Staff Member of the Year!
Maibella Sedai was voted Most Representative of Ajah by a community wide vote!
- Merits
In January, Jordan Sedai received her THIRD Membership Gold merit.
In April Chiyuki Sedai and Halosia Sedai received their SECOND Senior Membership Gold merit. Ashara Sedai received a Staff Silver merit. Ilverin Sedai received a Climbing the Ladder merit and also a Reporters Silver merit. Siera Sedai received a Keeper's Award merit badge after receiving the Keeper's Award yearlier in the year.
In July, Siera Sedai received a THIRD Membership Gold merit and Imzadi Sedai received her SECOND! While Roshen Sedai was awarded her THIRD Senior Membership merit and Ilverin Sedai was awarded THIRD Staff Gold merit. For their Pro Bono work, Alyssa Sedai was awarded with the Gold Pro Bono merit for her Legal controbitions and Ilverin Sedai was awarded the Pro Bono Silver merit for Graphical work.
In October Ilverin Sedai received THIRD Membership Gold merit while Alyssa Sedai received THIRD Senior Membership merit. Siera Sedai received a second amind gold merit and a Group Service merit for her contributing to the Ajah in an unofficial capacity.
Bonds
Elyss Sedai brought in a new member into the Gray family - Dravid ter'Mand Gaidin
Aspirations
The Gray Ajah is happy to welcome three new aspirants for this year Estelyn Blackfyre, Jahily al'Karee and Tomeina Raieese!
