| This was the Dragon*Con where I met Padra. We knew each other on the boards by name but never really knew each other until we were face to face. We instantly clicked and I adored her after about thirty seconds. Ever since, we've met up at events through the years and hung out together. It sounds cheesy to say, but whenever I found out we would be at the same event I became so happy, like a "Padra Will Be There" status made the event raise a full notch in the awesome scale. Because it did. For me at least, having her there completed my satisfaction in attending. It was a full-on benefit. I don't care if that sounds dumb or overstated; it's the truth. | |||

| I have many favorites on my computer at home, but these are a few that I can access at the moment.
Before I post them though, let me say, when it comes to pictures of Padra, the real testament is the hundreds and hundreds that she took herself. She was a gifted photographer and always generous with her gift. She's taken almost all of my favorite pictures of our tower family, and those are the ones that remind me most of her. Even though you can't see her face, in my mind's eye I always picture a camera in Padra's hand. | |||

| These are of Padra and I in Orlando....It's been a few years ago. I was in town for business and she came and got me and took me out for a night on the town. I remember she had the showtunes from Wicked playing in her car.

These pics are from Mother's wedding! They're the last memories I have of Tricia. When I think of her now, the first thing that pops into my mind is watching her take tons and tons of pictures after the ceremony. We were joking that Mother didn't need to hire a photographer, cause Padra had it covered. All the ladies! | I went and dug through my photo harddrive tonight, and pulled out every decent photo with Padra I could find. Sadly, it seems some of my stuff must be in the states on an older harddrive, but I found a small pile of 30 anyway. | Well it looks like a lot of the ones on my laptop have been covered. Here are a few more favorites...
This is the first picture I ever saw of Padra. I wasn't at the event and I hadn't met her yet but, honestly, I really was intrigued by her. In the picture it was obvious to me that she had mastered the Aes Sedai qualities that we all strive to attain - calmness and grace and good humor and so much more. I wouldn't meet her for another year after I found this image, and by then I had built up the pedastal I had placed her on and was very intimidated. We became friends quickly though, and though she was the best of us, you always knew she was also just one of us. | |||

| I'm pretty sure I have some more whether my own or ones that I collected, but here are the two I could find from the 2nd Anniversary Party in TN, and when I first met Padra back in 2003. I believe this was also her first official party too! I think I have one of her raising, but I don't have that on my external harddrive here at work. I'll mention more in the memory thread. 2nd Anni was a great event for many of us though! and I was very lucky to room with Padra in our Novice Cabin. | |||

Thank you all for posting these pictures, I remember speaking to her while Guesting with the Blues and then again when we were looking in one of the Tower games for someone who had overcome a physical tragedy. When I read Mother's message..I saw her Avatar in my mind's eye.. I called Arafel Sedai earlier because I couldn't stop bawling..I felt like such a dolt! again, I say this.. I am so emotionally invested in this Site and truly truly belonging here is a pleasure and a privlege | ||

The event was a great gathering of Shawls. Padra didn't have her shawl with her, so she jumped in and faked it along with Zasha in my shawl. Padra was one of the treasured smiling faces who jumped in and laughed, smiled, and hugged, and whether I remembered seeing her at any other Tower event, I remembered her at this local one. I think this was the last time I got to spend any time with her that wasn't online, and we parted with hugs and smiles. | |||
