- How long have you been a fan of the Wheel of Time series?
Since the 90's
- How did you first get into the series?
I had just finished Tigana and a friend of mine recommended WOT. I haven't stopped. When I finish the end, I start over.
- Who is your favorite "hero"?
Probably Birgitte or Logain
- Favorite bad guy/gal?
Taim
- Favorite book and scene?
My favorite book is EOTW for pure nostalgia, but my favorite scene is Mat kicking butt against Gawyn and Galad.
- If you were set down in Randland, who/what would you see yourself as? An Aes Sedai? Innkeeper? Seanchan Captain?
I would hope to be a Wise One of the Aiel.
General Questions:
- How did you find TarValon.Net and what convinced you to stay and become a Senior Member?
I found TarValon.net during my first JordanCon. I stayed because I am a) an avid WOT reader and lover and b) I began making family/friends.
- What do you do in "real life"?
I am a natruopath and editor for a magazine.
- Do you have any hobbies?
Yes, I read, paint, sew, hike (when health permits), and help take care of our Japanese garden.
- What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
I can listen to anything except death metal and country.
- What are some of your favorite movies / television shows?
I am a huge Star Wars fan, though I do prefer the originals. I also like Midsomer Murders, the 1996 Pride & Prejudice, Fraiser, and spy movies.
- Aside from The Wheel of Time, what are a few of your favorite books/series?
Other favorite books include The Poisonwood Bible, The Alchemist, The Rincewind series, and the Master & Commander series.
- What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?
Until I was about 12 I was convinced I would grow up to be a pirate.
