General
Blaeric Negina is one of Joline Maza's (Green Ajah) Warders; Joline's other Warder is Fen Mizar (ACoS, Ch. 17). Blaeric is Shienaran but he shaved his topknot and let his hair grow out to avoid notice in Ebou Dar; he has blue eyes, black hair, and he is a little taller than Fen (ACoS, Ch. 29).
Timeline
- Blaeric accompanies Joline and Teslyn to Ebou Dar; Teslyn refuses to let Joline's Warders stay in an adjoining bedchamber to her and Joline's room (ACoS, Ch. 17).
- When the Seanchan capture Ebou Dar, Blaeric and Fen manage to get Joline out of the palace; they keep hiding her in different places around the city until Mistress Anan finds her and brings her to Mat (WH, Ch. 19).
- Blaeric reminds Mat to be respectful of Joline when he is telling her his escape plan; he also tells Mat that if Joline won't wear an a'dam as part of the escape plan, then there is nothing Mat can do to make her (WH, Ch. 29).
- When Mistress Anan tests her ability to use the a'dam on Joline, she causes her pain and Blaeric and Fen rush in to massage Joline's cramps away (WH, Ch. 29).
- Mat and company (including Blaeric) escape from Ebou Dar and begin traveling with Valan Luca's Circus (WH, Ch. 30; CoT, Ch. 1).
- Blaeric guards the wagon Joline resides in while with the circus (CoT, Ch. 2); he fetches Mat when Joline demands to speak with him (CoT, Ch. 3).
- Mat, Joline, Blaeric, and the others continue traveling with the circus (CoT, Ch. 28; KoD, Ch. 7; Ch. 9; Ch. 10). Mat manages to keep Joline's Warders from finding out that he spanked her (KoD, Ch. 7). Blaeric and Fen rush into Tuon's wagon when she collars Teslyn and Joline with a'dam but are unable to help the Aes Sedai (KoD, Ch. 9).
- Mat, Joline, Blaeric, and the others part ways with Valan Luca's circus and meet up with some of the Band of the Red Hand (KoD, Ch. 25).
- Blaeric helps Mat fight the Seanchan (KoD, Ch. 37).
- Blaeric goes with Joline into Hinderstap and helps take the serving girls out of the town (TGS, Ch. 27).
- He leaves for Tar Valon with Joline (ToM, Ch. 17).
