Iagin Handar: A Tairen Defender of the Stone.

Ianelle: A sul'dam from Seanchan.

Ianor: A Shienaran who joins Lan with Weilin, Managan and Gorenellin.

Ibrella: A novice in the rebel camp.

Idrelle Menford: An Accepted aligned with the White Tower.

Idrien Tarsin: The headmistress of the School of Cairhien.

Ieine: One of the Kin's Knitting Circle. She is a Wise Woman in Ebou Dar.

Ifeyina One of the two Maidens that goes with Rand when he battles the Shadowspawn outside of Maradon

Igaine Luin: An Amyrlin Seat raised from the Brown Ajah.

Ihvon: One of Alanna Mosvani's Warders.

Ila: One of the Tuatha'an. She is married to Raen and is grandmother to Aram.

Ilain Dormaile: A banker in Tar Valon.

Illeisien: An Aes Sedai of undetermined Ajah. She is aligned with neither the Aes Sedai in the White Tower nor the rebels. She is currently with the rulers of the Borderlands.

Ilyena Therin Moerelle: Lews Therin Telamon's wife. She was possibly an Aes Sedai during the Age of Legends. Lews Therin killed her and their children in his taint-induced madness.

Inala: A novice in the White Tower who Egwene recruits to help defend against the Seanchan attack.

Indirian: The clan chief of the Codarra Aiel. He is married.

Ines Demain: A noblewoman from Kandor. She was on Moiraine's list of possible mothers of the Dragon Reborn, because her son Rahien was born at the end of the Aiel War. She is a widow and lives with her son in Chachin, Kandor.

Ines: A woman in the Tairen and Cairhienin rebel camp.

Ingtar Shinowa: A nobleman from Shienar and Darkfriend. He accompanies Rand and his party in search of the Horn of Valere. After retrieving the Horn, he sacrifices himself for the sake of the others and to find his way back into the Light in 'The Great Hunt.'

Inlow, Master: The innkeeper of The Queen's Man in an Andoran Village.

Innina Darenhold: An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, and therefore aligned with Elaida's Aes Sedai. She was one of the sisters sent to capture Rand al'Thor, but was taken prisoner herself after the battle at Dumai's Wells. She eventually swears an oath of fealty to Rand.

Innloine Damodred: A noblewoman from Cairhien; Anvaere and Moiraine's sister. She has children.

Iona: A sul'dam from Seanchan.

Iralin: A Domani man who tells Rand that the food he had had brought into Bandar Eban has all spoiled. Rand names him to the Merchant's council for his efforts to keep Bandar Eban falling into total chaos

Irella: An Accepted in the White Tower before it split, so it is unknown if she is aligned with the rebels or with Elaida's Aes Sedai, or if she is even still alive.

Irgain Fatamed: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah; she is one of Elaida's Aes Sedai. She is among the sisters sent to capture Rand al'Thor. She is stilled at the battle of Dumai's Wells, but Healed again by Damer Flinn. She had two Warders, both of whom died after she was stilled. She eventually swears an oath of fealty to Rand.

Isam Mandragoran: A nobleman from Malkier; Breyan and Lain's son. When the Trollocs overran Malkier, he and his mother disappeared and were thought dead. Isam, however, is mentioned in the Dark Prophecy and lives on as the being called Slayer, a twisted, evil merging of him and Luc Mantear.

Isan: A Maiden of the Spear of the Jarra Chareen. She is killed at the battle of Dumai's Wells in 'A Crown of Swords.'

Isebaille Tobanyi: A historical Aes Sedai.

Isebele: A historical ruler of Dal Calain.

Iselle Arrel: A noblewoman of Malkier; Edeyn Arrel's daughter. She was killed by Merean Redhill in 'New Spring.'

Isendre: A Darkfriend. She uses her beauty to serve the Shadow. Hadnan Kadere kills her in 'The Fires of Heaven,' because she is of no use to him any longer.

Ishamael: A Forsaken. He was a male Aes Sedai during the Age of Legends with the name of Elan Morin Tedronai. He was only been partially bound in the Bore and has influenced many events from after the Breaking up to present times. As Ba'alzamon, he is killed by Rand in 'The Dragon Reborn.' He returns later as Moridin.

Ishara Nawan: A historical character; an Amyrlin Seat raised from the Blue Ajah.

Ishara: The first Queen of Andor. She was the daughter of Joal Ramedar and Endara Casalain. She had an Aes Sedai advisor named Ballair. With her lover Souran Maravaile, she had several children; none of her sons lived past twenty. Her daughter Alesinde, the first Tower-trained Daughter-Heir, succeeded Ishara as Queen.

Ishigari Terasian: A man from Arafel; the councilor of King Paitar Nachiman.

Ismic: A nobleman from the Borderlands. He is married to Nazelle, one of Queen Ethenielle's sisters.

Ispan Shefar: An Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah, and also of the Black Ajah. She is originally from Tarabon. She flees the White Tower with Liandrin and eleven others of the Black Ajah. Moghedien assigns her the task of searching for the angreal stash in Ebou Dar. She is captured by Elayne and Nynaeve. She and Adeleas Namelle are killed by Careane Fransi in 'The Path of Daggers.'

Iva: A female Ogier; daughter of Alar and Erith's mother. She and Covril initiate Erith and Loial's marriage.

Ivara: One of the Kin's Knitting Circle. She is a goldsmith. She is originally from Tear.

Ivon (1): A knifemaker from Cairhien.

Ivon (2): A Child of the Light.

Ivonell Bharatiya: A scholar from the time before the Trolloc Wars.
