Gai'shain Character List

Alainia: Alainia is a plump silversmith from Amadicia. She was taken gai'shain by the Shaido and freed by Perrin and his forces.

Aldin: Aldin was a bookkeeper from Amadicia taken by the Shaido and freed by Perrin and his forces.

Alliandre Maritha Kigarin: The Queen of Gheldean, oathsworn to Perrin. Taken captive by the Shaido and freed by Perrin and his forces.

Alvon: Alvon is a woodcutter from Amadicia taken by the Shaido and freed by Perrin and his forces.

Aravine Carnel: An Amidacian woman, taken by the Shaido and freed by Perrin and his forces. She was also a Darkfriend and tried to turn the horn of Valere over to a Black Ajah Aes Sedai, but was killed by Faile.

Arrela Shiego: A Tairen noble and member of Cha Faile taken by the Shaido and freed by Perrin and his forces. She took a lover while with them, but her lover was killed in the attack on Maiden.

Bain: A Maiden of the Spear, taken by the Shaido and freed by Perrin and his forces. As with all Aiel taken, she remained a gai'shain after the defeat of the Shaido.

Beira: One of Bair's gai'shain, whom the bleakness has befallen. Beira will not put off white, no matter how hard she is beaten.

Chenda: A woman who demanded to be taken gai'shain when Bair was a girl

Chiad: A Maiden of the Spear, taken by the Shaido and freed by Perrin and his forces. As with all Aiel taken, she remained a gai'shain after the defeat of the Shaido.

Chion: An Aiel woman captured as gai'shain and staying at Cold Rocks Hold. Before being made gai'shain, she was a Maiden of the Spear.

Corvila: A weaver from Altara. She was taken by the Shaido and freed by Perrin and his forces.

Cowinde: A gai'shain held by the Wise One Melaine. She refuses to put off the white.

Dairaine Saighan: A Cairhienin noble taken by the Shaido and broken by them such that she put loyalty to Sevanna above the chance to escape

Denton: A minor Cairhienin noble who refused to be anything more than a servant after being freed

Doilan: A Shaido who has been taken gai'shain.

Doirmanes: A young Cairhienin nobleman who was taken gai'shain by the Shaido. Faile believed she had been broken by them

Garan: An Aiel man of the Jhirad sept of the Goshien Aiel. Joinde, his captor, lay a Bridal Wreath at his feet the day before his time was over.

Gharadin: A gai'shain sent to Ghealdan with Perrin.

Juric: A gai'shain held by the Wise One Bair. He refuses to put off the white.

Lacile Aldorwin: A young Cairhinin noble and member of Cha Faile, taken captive by the Shaido. She takes an mera'din lover who she is forced to kill in the escape attempt.

Lusara: A Domani merchant taken captive by the Shaido and freed by Perrin and his forces.

Lyncon: A Cairhienin carpenter taken captive by the Shaido and freed by Perrin and his forces.

Niagen: One of the Mera'din taken captive during the fall of Malden

Niella: Aviendha's sister, taken during a raid on Sulara Hold

Rodera: An Aiel gai'shain serving the Wise Ones.

Theril: An Amidacian taken captive by the Shaido who helped Faile try to escape by stealing the Oath Rod and fetching help when Galina betrayed her. He was freed when Perrin defeated the Shaido.
