Rovair Kirklin is the Warder of Masuri Sokawa of the Brown Ajah; he is compact, with dark receding hair and a ready grin (TPoD, Ch. 10).
Timeline
- Masuri and Rovair meet up with Perrin on his way to Dumai's Wells to rescue Rand after he is captured by Elaida's embassy (LoC, Ch. 54).
- Rovair watches Masuri beating a rug outside the tents of the Wise Ones in Cairhien; Perrin notes that he is very upset at the way his Aes Sedai is being treated (TPoD, Ch. 10).
- Masuri and Rovair accompany Perrin when he visits Masema to bring him to Rand and then when Perrin returns to his camp (TPoD, Ch. 30; WH, Ch. 1).
- When the party returns to Perrin's camp and learns that Faile has been captured by the Shaido, Rovair joins other Warders and the Aiel in scouting (WH, Ch. 2).
- The Warders (including Rovair) and the Aiel return to the camp the following day, letting Perrin know that Faile is still alive (WH, Ch. 6).
- Selande tells Perrin that Masuri and Rovair have been spotted visiting Masema's camp (CoT, Ch. 5).
- When Masuri comes to inspect the Darkhound tracks Perrin has found, Rovair doesn't come with her; Perrin figures it must be the Wise Ones' doing (CoT, Ch. 7).
- Masuri and Rovair are among those who accompany Perrin when he goes into So Habor (CoT, Ch. 25).
- Masuri and Rovair ride off on their own once they get inside the city (CoT, Ch. 26).
- Masuri wants to stay in So Harbor with Rovair, but Perrin forces them to return with him; they watch the questioning of the Shaido captives when they return (CoT, Ch. 27).
- Rovair helps when Perrin dumps forkroot into the Shaido's water supply; Masuri is not along and he is not happy at being separated from her (KoD, Ch. 26).
- Rovair is in Malden with Perrin when Perrin finds Faile; with Faile safe, Rovair announces that he is going to find Masuri and strides away without waiting to see if this is okay with Perrin (KoD, Ch. 30).
