Merana Ambrey is an Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah who sided with the rebels when the Tower split (LoC, Ch. 41). She was sent to lead their embassy to Rand in Caemlyn (LoC, Ch. 15), but lost control of this when he Traveled to Cairhien and Bera and Kiruna took over.
