The Wheel of Time TV series is a fantasy television show, based on The Wheel of Time Book Series by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson (co-authoring the final three books).
The show was developed by Rafe Judkins, in consultation with Harriet McDougal and Brandon Sanderson. It is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios and is available exclusively for streaming on Amazon Prime.
Plot
Moiraine, an Aes Sedai from the White Tower, is in search of a reincarnated hero destined to save, or possibly destroy, the world. With her Warder bodyguard, Lan, she dedicates her life to finding and protecting this hero, following rumors and obscure clues wherever they may lead. When their travels bring them to a sleepy rural town called the Two Rivers, they discover not one, but five ta'veren, and any of them could be the prophesied Dragon Reborn. They're not the only ones searching, though, and the looming threat of the Dark One and his minions forces Moiraine, Lan, and their new companions on a life-and-death journey to uncover the truth, fight against evil, and -- against all odds -- prevent a second Breaking of the World.
