Maidens of the Spear Character List
Adelin: Of the Taardad; she follows Rand.
Agirin: Of the Shelan Daryne; she follows Rand and dies at the Battle of Dumai’s Wells.
Amys: Formerly Far Dareis Mai and now a Wise One dreamwalker of the Nine Valleys Taardad. She can channel, is married to Rhuarc, and is the sister-wife of Lian.
Aviellin: One of the group that accompanies Perrin to Ghealdan.
Aviendha: Formerly Far Dareis Mai and now a Wise One of the Nine Valleys Taardad. She is first-sister to Elayne and one of Rand’s lovers.
Bain: Of the Black Rock Shaarad; first-sister to Chiad. She and Chiad regularly accompany Perrin and Faile. They are both taken as gai’shain by the Shaido, and during the battle at Malden Gaul takes makes them his gai’shain.
Beralna: A follower of Rand.
Briain: One of the group that accompanies Perrin to Ghealdan; she dies during the battle at Malden.
Carahuin: A follower of Rand.
Careen: A follower of Rand.
Chiad: Of the Stone River Goshien; she is first-sister to Bain and the lover of Gaul. She and Bain regularly accompany Perrin and Faile. They are both taken as gai’shain by the Shaido, and during the battle at Malden Gaul makes them his gai’shain.
Chiarid: A follower of Rand.
Chion: A gai’shain who is killed by a dragkhar at Cold Rocks Hold.
Chuonde: Of the Spine Ridge Miagoma Aiel; she follows Rand and dies at the Battle of Dumai’s Wells.
Corana: A follower of Rand who believes the Aiel should declare blood feud with the Seanchan.
Cowinde: Currently gai’shain to Melaine.
Dagendra: A follower of Rand.
Dailin: Of the Nine Valleys Taardad; she is killed by a Myrddraal when she helps rescue Egwene, Elayne, and Nynaeve from Darkfriends.
Desora: Of the Musara Reyn; she follows Rand and is killed by Children of the Light.
Domeille: A follower of Rand.
Dorindha: A follower of Rand.
Efalin: A Maiden of the Shaido Aiel. She is the leader of the Maidens with Sevanna.
Elienda: A Maiden who accompanies Perrin to Ghealdan. She is killed by the Shaido.
Enaila: A Maiden of the Jarra sept of the Chareen Aiel. She follows Rand and is one of the Maidens most often seen accompanying and defending him.
Isan: A Maiden of the Jarra sept of the Chareen Aiel. She follows Rand. She is killed at Dumai’s Wells.
Jalani: A Maiden who follows Rand; she is very young.
Jendhilin: A Maiden of the Cold Peak sept of the Miagoma Aiel. She follows Rand. She is dead.
Joinde: A Maiden of the Black Rock sept of the Shaarad Aiel. She follows Rand until she gives up the spear to marry Garan
Jolien: A Maiden of the Salt Flat sept of the Nakai Aiel. She follows Rand. She is killed fighting the Shaido.
Lamelle: A Maiden of the Smoke Water sept of the Miagoma Aiel. She follows Rand. She is killed in Caemlyn.

Lerian: A Maiden who follows Rand.
Liah: A Maiden of the Cosaida sept of the Chareen Aiel. She follows Rand. She is killed in Shadar Logoth by Rand after she is taken over by Mashadar.
Luaine: A Maiden who follows Rand.
Maira: A Maiden of the Serai sept of the Tomanelle Aiel. She follows Rand.
Malindare: A Maiden who follows Rand.
Marthea: A Maiden of the Shaido Aiel. She is killed during the battle against Perrin and the Seanchan.
Melindhra: A Maiden of the Jumai sept of the Shaido Aiel. She abandons her clan to follow Rand. She is also a Darkfriend. She is killed by Mat after she tries to kill him.
Mori:
Naeise: A Maiden of the Moshaine sept of the Shaido Aiel. She goes through one of Sammael’s gateways.
Nandera: A Maiden who follows Rand. She is one of the Maidens most often seen accompanying and defending him.
Nerilea: A Maiden who follows Rand.
Nesair: A Maiden of the Shaido Aiel. She has abandoned her clan to follow Rand.
Rhian: A Maiden who goes across the Dragonwall to search for the Car’a’carn.
Riallin: A Maiden who follows Rand.
Sarendhra: A Maiden of the Shaido Aiel. She has abandoned her clan to follow Rand.
Sefela: A Maiden who crosses the Dragonwall to search for the Car’a’carn and participates in taking the Stone of Tear.
Sendara: A Maiden of the Iron Mountain sept of the Taardad Aiel. She follows Rand. She is dead.
Shaiel: Tigraine Mantear, the former Daughter-Heir of Andor and the mother of Rand al’Thor and Galadedrid Damodred. Because of a Foretelling from Gitara Moroso, she flees to the Aiel Waste and becomes a Maiden of the Spear, adopted into the Chumai sept of the Taardad Aiel. She dies giving birth to Rand on Dragonmount during the Aiel War.
Somara: A Maiden of the Bent Peak sept of the Daryne Aiel. She follows Rand. She is killed when the Asha’man attack Rand in Cairhien.
Sulin: A Maiden of the Goshien Aiel. She follows Rand. She takes a position as a servant for a time to meet her toh for speaking to three gai’shain as if they were Maidens in an emergency.
Surial: A Maiden who follows Rand.
Suraile: A Maiden of the Moshaine sept of the Shaido Aiel.
Tuandha: A Maiden who accompanies Perrin to Ghealdan.
