Jillari: She is a Seanchan damane. Alivia, Jillari and Marille are the three Seanchan damane captured by Rand's forces in Altara. Rand sends the captured damane and sul'dam to Elayne in Caemlyn. (TPoD, Ch. 23, WH, Ch. 8)

Jillie Lewin: A young woman from Emond's Field, old enough to braid her hair.

Jillien: A goldsmith by trade. She is staying at the farm outside of Ebou Dar. She is plump. (TPoD, Ch. 20) Jillien accompanies Elayne and her party when they leave the farm fleeing the Seanchan. She is slow about getting ready to leave so Alise sets her to washing dishes. (TPoD, Ch. 20)

Jimar Chubain: The High Captain of the Tower Guard. He attains this post after the rebellion following the stilling of Siuan Sanche.

Jini: A Seanchan damane. She is motherly and has short, yellow hair. (TFoH, Ch. 32) Lady Morsa, Jalindin, two sul'dam and their damane, Seri and Jini, and twenty soldiers confront Rand and Aviendha when they accidentally Travel to Seanchan. Rand tries to remove Jini's a'dam stunning himself, Jini and her sul'dam. Aviendha tries to remove Seri's a'dam but she cannot figure out how. (TFoH, Ch. 32)

Jinjin: A damane held by the Seanchan. Pura and Jinjin are damane in attendance to High Lady Suroth when she has an audience with Morgase.

Jisao Hamora: A Youngling. He is a teenager who hardly needs to shave yet, but he has intense, dark eyes. (ACoS, Prologue) Jisao Hamora, Benji Dalfor, Hal Moir and Arwin are among the Younglings who accompany Gawyn and the Aes Sedai to Cairhien. (LoC, Prologue)

Joal Ramedar: The last king of Aldeshar before it was conquered by Artur Hawkwing. LoC,Ch26 - Elenia tells Rand the story of Endara Casalain, Artur Hawkwing's governor for the province of Andor. Her husband was Joal Ramedar, the last king of Aldeshar and their daughter was Ishara, first queen of Andor.

Joana: Birgitte's name in a former life.

Joar Addam Nessosin: Asmodean's real name.

Joelin: A Whitecloak soldier under the command of Dain Bornhald. Joelin and Gomanes are killed, supposedly in a Trolloc attack, while keeping an eye on Ordeith for Dain Bornhald. (TSR,Ch31)

Johanin: King of Ghealdan. Johanin dies in a hunting accident after he fails to take Masema seriously. (TFoH, Ch. 39)

Joinde: An Aiel Maiden of the Spear. She is of the Black Rock sept of the Shaarad. Joinde takes Garan as gai'shain in battle. (TFoH, Ch. 3) Joinde makes a bridal wreath for Garan even though he is Goshien and she is Shaarad. (TFoH, Ch. 3)

Joiya Byir: An Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah. She is actually Black Ajah. She is old enough to be Egwene's grandmother. (TDR, Ch. 25) She has a friendly face with dark hair and gray eyes. (TDR, Ch. 51) She is handsome, with dark eyes. (TSR, Ch. 5) She is a head taller than Moiraine. (TSR, Ch. 6)

Joiya al'Thor: Egwene's and Rand's imaginary baby girl in her first trip though the three arches during her Accepted test. TDR,Ch. 22 - On her first trip through the three arches, Egwene sees herself married to Rand with a baby daughter Joiya.

Jol: A man from Cairhien. Kin Tovere's apprentice.

Jolien: An Aiel Maiden of the Spear of the Salt Flat sept of the Nakai Aiel. She is described as having reddish-gold hair, and blue eyes.

Joline Maza: Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah. Involved in Elaida's coup, raised sitter after, then sent to Ebou Dar on a whim of Elaida. Still there when the Seanchan took over. Rescued by Mat.

Jom: A townsman during the Age of Legends. He wears his shoulder length black hair gathered in back - the latest fashion. (TSR, Ch. 26) Jom runs into Charn knocking him down. He quickly apologizes when he sees that Charn is Aiel. (TSR, Ch. 26)

Jon: The blacksmith in the village of Jarra. Taken by Rand's ta'veren influence, Rilith, the weaver's daughter drags Jon off to be married. (TDR, Ch. 8)

Jon Ayellin: A Two Rivers farmer. He is hulking and bald. (LoC, Prologue) Thad Torfinn and Jon Ayellin bring a dispute about the boundaries of their fields to Lady Faile. They have been arguing over it since before she was born so she tells them to split the difference. (LoC, Prologue)

Jon Gaelin: A Two Rivers farmer who lives between Emond's Field and Jac al'Seen's farm. TSR,Ch33 - When Jac al'Seen and his family agree with Perrin's suggestion to move to Emond's Field, they plan to stop for the night at Jon Gaelin's farm.

Jon Skellit: A servant in the Royal Palace in Caemlyn. He is also a spy for House Arawn. Reene Harfor confronts Jon Skellit on his misdeeds and turns him into a mole.(CoT, Ch. 14) WH, Ch. 26 - Reene Harfor uncovers two more spies, Jon Skellit who reports to House Arawn and Ester Norham. She and Elayne agree to keep the spies on staff and feed them bad information.

Jon Thane: Miller in Emond's Field, member of the village council, described as "lantern-jawed".

Jonai: An Aiel during the Breaking and Rand's ancestor. His father is Coumin. His wife is Alnora. His children are Adan, Willim and Esole. He has sun red hair. (TSR, Ch. 26) Jonai meets with Solinda, Oselle and Deindre in the Hall of the Servants. Jonai leads the Aiel from Paaran Disen with his family, Alnora, Willim, Adan and Esole. (TSR, Ch. 26)

Jonan Adley: One of the Asha'man. Taken by Rand as one of his guards. One of the first to join Rand, killed when Rand lost control of Callandor while driving the Seanchan back.

Jondyn Barran: A Two Rivers man. He is the best hunter in the Two Rivers, but otherwise he is a loafer. He is a grizzled old man. (ACoS, Ch. 1) Dannil Lewin sends some of his best woodsmen, Jondyn Barran, Hu Marwin and Get Ayliah, in search of Faile. (WH, Ch. 2) Elyas and Jondyn find evidence of an army to the south. They continue to scout while the Maidens and Warders return to Perrin's camp to report. (WH, Ch. 6) After much searching and backtracking, Elyas and Jondyn Barran finally pick up the trail of the Shaido. (CoT, Ch. 5)

Joni Shagrin: One of Gareth Bryne's men in Kore Springs. A retired member of the Queen's Guard. He is a big man. The little hair left on his head is nearly white. (TFoH, Ch. 1) Logain knocks Joni out with a rock while he is taking Min, Siuan and Leane to Gareth Bryne's estate. Joni goes with Gareth Bryne to track down Min, Siuan and Leane. (TFoH, Ch. 1)

Jorath: A widow in the village of Jarra. Taken by Rand's ta'veren influence, Widow Jorath drags old Banas off to be married. (TDR, Ch. 8) Jori: Morvrin's Warder. He is bald and square-faced, no taller than Nynaeve but nearly as wide as he is tall. (LoC, Ch. 29) Jori comes out of the Little Tower as Nynaeve walks up. (LoC, Ch. 29) Jori accompanies Morvrin as Egwene and her council scout Tar Valon. (CoT, Ch. 16)

Jori Congar: A Two Rivers man. He is a fine hunter but will drink too much if given a chance. He is skinny even though he eats enough for two. (TPoD, Ch. 9) Jori Congar is among the Two Rivers men who accompany Perrin from the Two Rivers to Caemlyn. Dannil leads the men to make camp outside the city. (LoC, Ch. 45)

Jorille Mondevin: Royal Historian to the Court of Queen Ethenielle of Kandor. (SaSG) Jorille locates some ancient documents in Chachin and from them writes The Strike at Shayol Ghul. (SaSG)

Jorin Arene: A rich merchant in Amador and a Darkfriend. His wife is Amellia Arene. Liandrin and the others of the Black Ajah take over Jorin Arene's manor house in Amador. When Jorin objects, Temaile tortures him into a cowering cripple. (TFoH, Ch. 18)

Jorin din Jubai White Wing: An Atha'an Miere who is the Windfinder of the Wavedancer. Her sister is Coine. She has grown daughters. She looks young and is taller than her sister. She three rings in each ear. She has tattoos on her hand of stars and seabirds surrounded by the curls and whirls of stylized waves. (TSR, Ch. 20)

Josaine: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah. She remains with the White Tower. At Alviarin's urging, Elaida has Adelorna and Josaine severely punished for keeping angreal. This creates strife between the Ajahs. (ACoS, Ch. 32)

Josef Najima: A farmer living near Canluum. Wife Jurine. Daughters Colar and Eselle. Baby son Jerid. He has always been extremely lucky. He and his sons are killed in a barn fire. (New Spring)

Joslyn Aybara: Perrin's mother. Married to Con Aybara. Son, Paet. Daughters, Adora and Deselle. Padan Fain murders Perrin's entire family including Joslyn because Joslyn and Con Aybara laughed at him and insulted him when Fain told them Perrin was a Darkfriend. (TSR, Ch. 29, TSR, Ch. 31)

Jovarin: A mason. Master Jovarin is the head mason for the new wing of the White Tower library. (TSR, Ch. 1)

Juilaine Madome: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah. She remains loyal to the White Tower. She is elected a Sitter in the Hall after two of the Sitters join the Salidar Aes Sedai. She is tall and attractive with short black hair. (TPoD, Ch. 26)

Juilin Sandar: Thief-catcher from Tear. Dislikes being named "thief-taker". Affections for Seanchan servant, Thera, previously Amathera the Panarch of Tarabon.

Juin: An Ogier from Stedding Tsofu. Son of Lacel and grandson of Laud. Juin breaks up a potential fight between the Shienarans and the Maidens. He then takes Verin, Rand and the others to the Stedding Tsofu Elders. (TGH, Ch. 35)

Julanya Fote: A Kinswoman.

Jur Grady: One of the Asha'man, one of the first to join. Taken by Rand as a guard and sent to Ghealdan with Perrin.

Jurad Shiman: An officer at the Aesdaishar Palace in Chacin, Kandor.

Jurah Haret The innkeeper of the Star. Round-faced and balding. Stout. Jurah Haret greets Moiraine, Lan, Perrin, Loial and Zarine when they enter his inn. (TDR, Ch. 50)

Juranai: Leader of the Red Shields from an unknown sept and clan.

Juric: An Aiel who is held gai'shain by Bair. Has served their year and a day, but they have succumbed to the bleakness. They will not put off the white even though Bair beats them. (LoC, Ch. 15)

Jurine Najima: A farm woman living near Canluum. Husband Josef. Daughters Colar and Eselle. Baby son Jerid. Moiraine interviews her as the possible mother of the Dragon Reborn, but baby Jerid was born in the wrong place. Her husband and sons were killed in a barn fire. (New Spring)

Jurith Dorine: The Right Hand to the Queen of Almoren. She wrote a commentary on the Prophecies of the Dragon in 742 AB.
