Valda, Eamon: A Lord Captain of the Children of the Light raised to Lord Captain Commander after Pedron Nial's death and killed by Galad Damodred in a Trial beneath the Light
Valera Gorovni: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah. She was one of the women chosen by Tamra Ospenya to search for the Dragon Reborn. She was murdered by the Black Ajah.
Valinde Nathenos: An Aes Sedai of the White Ajah; she is aligned with the rebel Aes Sedai. She is originally from Illian. She was part of the rebel embassy to Rand, but ended up escorting the Two Rivers girls found by Alanna and Verin to Salidar.
al'Van, Alwyn: The cobbler in Emond's Field
Vandene Namelle: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah; she was aligned with the rebel Aes Sedai. She was bonded to Jaem and was Adeleas' sister. She was killed by Chesmal Emry after killing Careane Fransi, who killed her sister.
Vandes, Eban: An author and historian who wrote a book entitled "The History of the Stone of Tear"
Vane, Master: A merchant from Jurador who tried to kill Mat
Vanin, Chel: A former horsethief taken on as a scout in the Band of the Red Hand
Vanora Carridin: The sister of Jaichim Carridin. She was given to and likely killed by Fades.
Varadin: A Whitecloak.
Varan Marcasiev: A man from Canluum, Kandor. He is the lord of Canluum.
Varek: A man from Seanchan. He is a soldier.
Varil Nensen: A man from Tarabon. He is an Asha'man who holds the rank of soldier and has started taking private lessons with Taim. He is bonded by Alviarin and survives the Last Battle, only to be captured in a stedding
Varilin: An Aes Sedai of and Sitter for the Gray Ajah; she is aligned with the rebel Aes Sedai and retains her seat after reunification.
Varkel Tius: A member of Perrin's army who complains about others in the army receiving preferential treatment
Varuna Morrigan: A historical character; she was an Amyrlin Seat raised from the Green Ajah.
Varuota: Tuon's great great great grandmother
Vasa: A sailor who works on a ship named the Gray Gull.
Vasha: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah loyal to Elaida who escaped Dumai's Wells and waited in Dorlan
Vayelle Kamsa: An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, and therefore aligned with Elaida's Aes Sedai. She is one of the Aes Sedai sent by Elaida to capture Rand, but is instead captured herself and ends up swearing fealty to Rand.
Vayet, Akoure: An Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah who sides with Elaida when the White Tower split
Vayu, Sierin: An Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah raised to Amyrlin Seat after the death of Tamra Ospenya
Velina Behar: An Aes Sedai of and Sitter for the White Ajah; she is aligned with Elaida's Aes Sedai. She was on the list of Black Ajah members but fled before she could be apprehended.
Venamar, Ryne: A Malkieri Darkfriend who was a friend and companion of Lan's before trying to kill him
Venr Kosaan: A man from Saldaea. He was bonded to Careane Fransi. The last we see of him, he is rushing into the house where Careane was killed.

al'Vere, Berowyn: Egwene's oldest sister who lost a husband and child to fever
al'Vere, Brandelwyn: Egwene's father. The mayor of Emond's Field
al'Vere, Egwene: A girl from the Two Rivers who rose to the position of Amyrlin Seat. She was killed in the last Battle, drawing too much of the Power in defeating Mazrim Taim

Verin Mathwin: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah; she is aligned with the rebel Aes Sedai. She is bonded to Tomas. She has sworn fealty to Rand al'Thor. She was long a member of the Black Ajah, gathering information in the expectation of eventually exposing them. She had to commit suicide to do so
Verine: An Accepted of the White Tower. She was killed by Padan Fain.
Veshir: A Shienaran farmer who goes north to face the Storm.
Vestas: A soldier in Gareth Bryne's army.
