Aiko: A woman who works at the Aesdaishar Palace in Chachin.

Ailene Tolvina: A woman from Chachin. She owns an inn named The Evening Star.

Alin Seroku: A man from Canluum. He is a guard who works at the gates.

Antol: Queen Ethenielle and Prince-Consort Brys's eldest son. He has four younger brothers, Diryk being one of them, and two sisters, one of them Jarene.

Anya: A woman who works at the Aesdaishar Palace in Chachin.

Asher, Mistress: A merchant. She also has the ability to channel and is a wilder.

Avene Sahera: A woman from the town of Ravinda. She has ten children. She gave birth to a son, Migel, outside of Tar Valon during the Aiel War and was one of the names on Moiraine's list of possible mothers of the Dragon Reborn. With the bounty that she received from the White Tower, she built an inn in Ravinda and named it The White Tower.

Baldhere: After Brys's death, Baldhere becomes Ethenielle's Swordbearer. He accompanies her to her meeting with the other Borderland rulers in the Black Hills.

Brys: Ethenielle's Prince-Consort, husband and Swordbearer. He had five sons, Antol and Diryk and two others, and two daughters, one of them named Jarene. He was killed by Merean Redhill.

Bulen: A boy who works at the Aesdaishar Palace in Chachin. As an adult, he joins Lan on his trek across the Borderlands. He is killed fighting in the Last Battle.

Cal: A footman who works for the Lady Ines Demain.

Caniedrin: A soldier who fights under Lan Mandragoran during the Aiel War. He is hired to kill Moiraine, but is instead killed by Ryne Venamar and Bukama Maranellin.

Colar Najima: A girl who lives near Canluum. She is the daughter of Jurine and Josef Najima, and the sister of Eselle and Jerid Najima.

Coy: A brigand.

Diryk: Queen Ethenielle and Prince-Consort Brys's second eldest son. He had one elder brother, Antol, and three younger brothers, as well as two sisters, one of them named Jarene. He was killed by Merean Redhill at the age of eight.

Einone: A noblewoman; she is Queen Ethenielle’s sister. She is married to one of Queen Tenobia of Saldaea’s uncles.

Elis: A woman who works at the Aesdaishar Palace in Chachin.

Eselle Najima: A girl who lives near Canluum. She is the daughter of Jurine and Josef Najima, and the sister of Colar and Jerid Najima.

Esne: A woman who works at the Aesdaishar Palace in Chachin.

Ethenielle Cosaru Noremaga: The Queen of Kandor. Her husband was Prince-Consort Brys, who was killed by Merean Redhill. She has five sons, Antol being the eldest, and the second, Diryk, who was killed by Merean Redhill; she also has two daughters, the eldest being Jarene. She has sworn to follow the Dragon Reborn to the Last Battle

Ethenielle Kirukon Materasu: A Queen of Kandor. Her Royal Historian, Jorille Mondevin, wrote "The Strike at Shayol Ghul." This is also the name of the Queen that the Wheel of Time RPG gives.

Eurian Romavni: Author of the book “A Journey to Tarabon.”

Georg Tazanovni: One of Pevara’s younger brothers. He was killed by Darkfriends.

Helvin, Master: A man from Canluum. He owns an inn named The Gates of Heaven.

Ines Demain: A noblewoman from Chachin. She gave birth to a son, Rahien, outside of Tar Valon during the Aiel War and was one of the names on Moiraine's list of possible mothers of the Dragon Reborn. Her husband is dead.

Jarene: Queen Ethenielle and Prince-Consort Brys's daughter. She has five brothers, including Antol and Diryk, and one sister.

Jargen: A He is experienced, having joined the watch on his fourteenth name day and has since killed almost fifty Trollocs. He has grey hair which is no

Jerid Najima: The son of Josef and Jurine Najima. He was born outside the walls of Tar Valon during the Aiel War. He was killed in a fire.

Jorille Mondevin: The Royal Historian of Kandor when Ethenielle Kirukon Materasu was Queen. She wrote "The Strike at Shayol Ghul."

Josef Najima: A man from near Canluum. He fought during the Aiel War and died in a fire after returning home.

Jurad Shiman: An officer. He is stationed at the Aesdaishar Palace in Canluum.

Jurine Najima: A woman who lives near Canluum. She is the wife of Josef Najima and the mother of Colar, Eselle and Jerid Najima. She gives birth to her son, Jerid, outside the walls of Tar Valon during the Aiel War.

Kaisal Noramagu: The grandson of Queen Ethenielle of Kandor. He joins Lan and is at his right when the Malkieri charage at Tarwin's gap

Kamile Noallin: A woman from Chachin. She is a banker.

Kareil: A noblewoman from Canluum. She recruits soldiers for the Aiel War.

Keemlin Rai: A boy in Heeth Tower and the son of Malenarin Rai. He is a few days younger than his fourteenth nameday when he will become a man

Kralle: A Kandori soldier in Heeth Tower who is sent to fetch Malenarin Rai's sword when the Trolloc army approaches.

Landalin: A lieutenant in Heeth Tower in Kandor.

Lira: A woman from Canluum. She works at an inn named The Blue Rose.

Lomas: A soldier.

Mahiro Shukosa: A nobleman. He is Warder to Rafela Cindal of the Blue Ajah.

Malenarin Rai: The commander of Heeth Tower in the north of Kandor along the Blightborder.

Malind Nachenin: An Aes Sedai of and Sitter for the Green Ajah; she is aligned with the rebel Aes Sedai and steps down after re-unification.

Marishna, Mistress: A woman from the town of Manala.

Migel Sahera: A boy in the town of Ravinda. His mother is Avene Sahera. He was born outside of Tar Valon during the Aiel War, and was on Moiraine's list of possibilities for the Dragon Reborn.

Nazelle: A noblewoman. She is one of Queen Ethenielle’s sisters and is married to Lord Ismic.

Nedare Satarov: A woman from Chachin. She owns an inn named The Silver Penny.

Nesune Bihara: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah; she is aligned with Elaida's Aes Sedai. She is one of the Aes Sedai sent by Elaida to capture Rand, but is instead captured herself and swears fealty to Rand.

Niach Okatomo: The commander of Rena Tower at the southern edge of the Blight in northern Kandor.

Paetram: A merchant.

Pevara Tazanovni: An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, and therefore aligned with Elaida's Aes Sedai. Along with Doesine, Saerin, Seaine and Yukiri, she is one of the hunters for the Black Ajah within the White Tower. She is one of the six Reds sent to bond an Asha'man and eventually bonds Androl Genhald, but is bonded by him in return. She is the only one of the group not turned to the Shadow.

Posavina, Master: A merchant.

Racelle Arovni: A woman from Canluum. She owns an inn named The Blue Rose. She and Bukama Marenellin were lovers.

Rahien Demain: A boy in Chachin. His mother is Ines Demain. He father died when he was a baby. He was born outside of Tar Valon during the Aiel War, and was on Moiraine's list of possibilities for the Dragon Reborn.

Rianna Andomeran: An Aes Sedai of the White Ajah; she is also a member of the Black Ajah. She flees from the White Tower with Liandrin and eleven other members of the Black Ajah. The last we see of her, she is in the employ of Moghedien. She survives the Last Battle and is captured in a stedding

Romera, Mistress: A woman in Chachin. She is the shatayan of the Aesdaishar Palace.

Serailla: Queen Ethenielle's First-Councilor. She accompanies Ethenielle to her meeting with the other Borderland rulers in the Black Hills.

Shimoku: An Accepted; she is aligned with the rebel Aes Sedai.

Silene Dorelmin: A woman from Chachin. She is a seamstress.

Surasa: A historical character; she was a Queen of Kandor.

Tian: A soldier at Heeth Tower along the Blightborder.

Tomichi, Mistress: A woman from the town of Manala. She owns an inn named The Plowman's Blade.

Tuval, Mistress: A woman in Chachin. She was Prince Diryk's tutor.

Varan Marcasiev: The High Seat of House Marcasiev and the lord of Canluum.
