Roedran: The king of Murandy. He appears to be a blustering fool, but much of this is an act.

Kash: An Asha'man of Taim's faction. He was captured by the Ogier on Stedding Sholoon.

Abaldar Yulan: A Seanchan general. Under Moghedien's compulsion he tried to persuade Tuon not to return to the Field of Merrilor.

Adelorna Bastine: The head of the Green Ajah. At the Last Battle she implies to Egwene that the Greens have accepted her as one of them.

Agelmar Jagad: One of the Great Captains, he was given charge of the battle at Tarwin's Gap. Hessalam used compulsion on him and he committed many errors resulting in the loss of over half his army.

Alanna Mosvani: An Aes Sedai who forcibly bonded Rand. She was taken to the Pit of Dhoom and left to die, with the expectation this would weaken Rand at a critical moment. Nynaeve is able to help her be lucid enough to release the bond before this happens.

Algarin Pendaloan: Formerly a Lord of the Land in Tear, now an Asha'man who calls himself Emarin. He helps Androl free Logain and fights with him against Taim and his men.

Abell Cauthon: Mat's father, a man from the Two Rivers. He fights at the last battle.

Alivia: A former Seanchan damane who gives Rand some clothes and money, to "help him die".

Andere: A Malkieri who rides with Lan during the battle at Tarwin's Gap.

Annoura Larisen: An Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah and Berelain's Aes Sedai advisor.

Ayako Norsoni: An Aes Sedai bonded to Donalo Sandomere. She is turned and ends up captured in Stedding Sholoon.

Aledrin Malenry: An Aes Sedai who was a Sitter for the White in Salidar and who is sent to the Black Tower to find Asha'man to bond.

Alliandre Maritha Kigarin: The Queen of Ghealdan. She spends much of the Last Battle on the battlefield at the Field of Merrilor.

Aludra Nendenhald: An Illuminator from Tarabon. She has built canons called "dragons" which she oversees and operates during the battles.

Aravine Carnel: A woman freed from the Shaido by Perrin and Faile who reveals herself as a Darkfriend and tries to steal the Horn of Valere.

Arel Malevin: An Asha'man loyal to Logain.

Arlen Nalaam: An Asha'man loyal to Logain. He is killed trying to free Logain.

Arrela: A member of Cha Faile who travels with Faile on the supply runs.

Artur Hawkwing: One of the Heroes of the Horn, called back to fight at the Last Battle.

Ashmanaille: An Aes Sedai helping to provide gateways at the Field of Merrilor. She recognizes Min as Elmindreda, suggesting that she knew Min during her time at The White Tower.

Atal Mishraile: An Asha'man loyal to Taim by choice.

Aviendha: An Aiel woman who becomes a Wise One. She is one of the four women bonded to Rand, and one of the three women he loves.

Bael: Clan Chief of the Goshien Aiel. He is present at the meeting at the Field of Merrilor and fights in the Last Battle.

Bain: An Aiel who is currently gaishan. She is first sister to Chiad. Gaul sees her briefly before he enters the Wolf Dream with Perrin.

Bair: An Aiel Wise One. She travels to Rhuidean to visit the glass columns for a second time after hearing about Aviendha's experience there.

Baldhere: The Swordbearer to the Throne of Clouds. He is one of the first to become suspicious of Agelmar.

Ban al'Seen: A young man from the Two Rivers.

Bayle Domon: Leilwin's husband.

Bela: A horse, killed taking Olver to safety.

Beldeine Nyram: An Aes Sedai sworn to Rand. She is killed in the Last Battle.

Bera Harkin: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah sworn to Rand. she fights at Shayol Ghul, leading a circle.

Berab Golever: A Child of the Light.

Berelain: The First of Mayene. She offers her palace as the central place to carry the wounded for Healing during the Last Battle.

Berisha: An Aes Sedai. She opened a gateway for Faile's group to travel to the Field of Merrilor but the group was hit by a Bubble of Evil and the gateway she opened put them in the Blight instead. She was stabbed and mortally wounded, presumably by Aravine.

Bertain Gallenne: Lord Captain of the Winged Guards of Mayene. He is killed in the fighting.

Beslan: The King of Altara, sworn to the Empress of the Seanchan. Fortuona suggests that he remain in Altara to run the city while she moves her troops to the Last Battle.

Birgitte: Formerly a Hero of the Horn, now Elayne's Warder. After being killed by Melar, she returns as a Hero of the Horn.

Bulen: A Malkieri who fights alongside Lan. He is killed by a wound he doesn't acknolwedge

Cadsuane Melaidhrin: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah who acted as Rand's advisor. After Egwene's death, she is chosen as the new Amyrlin.

Canler: An Asha'man of Logain's faction who accompanies Androl and Pevara during the Last Battle.

Catrona: A sul'dam. She takes Min to see Tuon

Charlz Guybon: Captain-General of the Queen's Guards (of Andor). He defends Camelyn during the Trolloc invasion then joins the Queen at the Field of Merrilor.

Chiad: An Aiel who is currently gaishan. She is first sister to Bain. Gaul sees her briefly before he enters the Wolf Dream with Perrin.

Coladara: Paitar's advisor. She fights at Tarwin's Gap

Coteren: An Asha'man loyal to Taim. Jonneth kills him with an arrow

Covril: Loial's mother. She fights in the Last Battle

Cyndane: One of the Forsaken, formerly Lanfear. She is killed by Perrin to stop her from preventing Rand from re-sealing the Dark One's prison.

Daerid: The commander of the infantry of the Band. He accompanies Talmanes with the Dragons

Dain Bornhald: A Whitecloak. He tells Perrin the truth about his family's death.

Damer Flinn: An Asha'man skilled in Healing. He loses an arm in the Last battle, but survives.

Dannil Lewin: A young man from the Two Rivers. He fights with his long bow beside Tam al'Thor.

Darlin: King of Tear. He fights at Thakan'dar. After Agelmar is removed from command Aviendha worries that Hessalam may have tried using compulsion on Darlin as well.

Daved Hanlon: A Darkfriend, once a captive of Elayne. He kills Birgitte, but is killed by her after she is summoned back to the world by the Horn of Valere

Davram Bashere: One of the Great Captains, he had charge of the battle in Andor and Cairhien, but made mistakes under Hessalam's compulsion. He was killed during the battle.

Deepe Bhadar: An Asha'man of Logain's faction, he was killed trying to kill Taim.

Deira Bashere: Davram Bashere's wife, she is killed with him.

Delarn: A member of the Band of the Red Hand. He is one of about a hundred to return to Hinderstap.

Demandred: One of the Forsaken. He enters the battle with Sharan channelers on his side. He demands to fight Lews Therin, but is killed by Lan.

Doesine: A Sitter for the Yellow Ajah, killed fighting the Sharans.

Donalo: A Tairen Asha'man turned to the Shadow and captured by Ogier in Stedding Sholoon.

Duhara: A former Red Ajah and Keeper of the Keeper of the Chronicles. After being exposed as Black Ajah, she is killed in battle around the Valley of Thakan'dar.

Dyelin Taravin: The High Seat of House Taravin in Andor. She meets with Elayne regarding the fall of Caemlyn.

Easar: The king of Shienar. He fights with Lan at Tarwin's Gap.

Edarra: An Aiel Wise One who accompanied Perrin to Ghealdan. When most of the others go to Thakan'dar, she stays with Perrin's camp in Andor. She advises him against entering Tel'aran'rhiod in the flesh.

Egeanin Sarna: Formerly a Seanchan ship captain, until she had her name and title revoked. She is now called Leilwin Shipless. To atone for the mistake of letting the Domination Band getting into Semirhage's hands, she has given her life into Egwene's hands. She becomes Egwene's warder.

Elayne Trakand: Queen of Andor. She is one of the four women bonded to Rand, and one of the three women he loves.

Elyas: A wolfbrother known to Perrin. He is sent to Rodel's camp to stop Rodel from making mistakes under the influence of Hessalam's compulsion.

Enaila: A Maiden of the Spear. She had agreed to marry, but was killed during the Last Battle.

Erith: Loials's wife, with him during the Last Battle.

Evin Vinchova: A Dedicated Asha'man loyal to Logain. He was Turned after trying to free Logain and killed after Androl's comments led him to attack one of Taim's other men.

Faeldrin: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah who swore fealty to Rand. She is killed by Hessalam during the Last Battle.

Fager Neald: An Asha'man who spent time with Perrin. He prepares gateways for the Dragoneers during the Last Battle

Faile: Perrin's wife. She is given the task of getting the Horn of Valere to Mat but is not successful in this. After the death of Tenobia and her father, she becomes queen of Saldaea.

Faiselle: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah who was a Sitter for the rebels. During the Last Battle, she is in the command tent when they learn of Bryne's Compulsion.

Falion: An Aes Sedai of the Black Ajah. She is killed in the battle at the Valley of Thakan'dar.

Faolain: A woman raised Aes Sedai by Egwene. She is one of the women sent to the Black Tower for Warders, and is told to only take one. She fights as part of = Androl's group in the Last Battle.

Ferane: An Aes Sedai of the White Ajah. She is in the command tent when they learn of Bryne 's Compulsion

Furyk Karede: Captain of the Deathwatch Guard. After failing to spot a Gray Man twice, Tuon sentences him to kill the Sharan channelers. Mat commands him to instead travel with him to the front lines of the battle.

Gabrelle Brawley: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah who is bonded to Logain.

Galad Damodred: Captain Commander of the Children of the Light. He is badly wounded during a swordfight against Demandred.

Gareth Bryne: High Captain of the White Tower guard and one of the five great captains. He is killed after charging madly into battle upon the death of Siuan, his Aes Sedai and lover.

Gaul: An Aiel who became a friend of Perrin. He goes with Perrin to the Wolf Dream to protect Rand from Slayer.

Gawyn Trakand: Elayne's brother and Egwene's husband and warder. He is killed in single combat with Demandred.

Gregorin: A member of the Council of Nine and Rand's steward in Illian. He opposes Rand's decision to destroy the Seals and during the Last Battle grows close to Darlin.

Haral Luhhan: The blacksmith in Emmond's Field. He carries Perrin to Mayene after Perrin leaves the Wolf Dream almost dead from exhaustion.

Haman: An Ogier elder. He brings the Ogier to join the side of the Light at the Field of Merrilor and fights in the Last Battle.

Harnan: A member of the Band of the Red Hand. He accidentally discovers the Horn of Valere when looking for tabac. He helps free captives taken by the Trollocs and tries to help Faile escape with the Horn of Valere.

Havien Nurelle: A Mayener who becomes commander of the Winged Guard after Bertain Gallene's death.

Hurin: A Shienaran man with the ability to smell violence. He is loyal to Rand and remembers how Rand apologized to him for treating him badly in the past. He is killed during the Last Battle.

Ila: A Tua'athon woman who helps at the Last Battle by looking for survivors. Grandmother of Aram, wife of Raen.

Isam Mandragoran: One of the two people that make up Slayer. Slayer fought Perrin in the Wolf Dream and attempted to kill Rand. He injured Perrin but was eventually killed by him.

Jahar Narishma: An Asha'man. He fights alongside Egwene after Gawyn's death when she fights Taim, helping to spot Taim's weaves and warn Egwene.

Janina: A Wise One, skilled in Healing who helps out in Mayene

Jarid Sarand: A noble in opposition to Elayne, his men abandon him and tie him to a tree after a Bubble of Evil hits their camp.

Jeaine Caide: A Domani member of the Black Ajah. She is killed by Thom trying to sneak into the Pit of Doom disguised as Cadsuane.

Jenare: An Aes Sedai who was bonded to Welyn. She is turned to the shadow by Taim.

Jheran: One of the Aiel Clan Chiefs, present at the meeting where the Peace of the Dragon was signed.

Jonneth Dowtry: A man from the Two Rivers in training at the Black Tower. He accompanies Androl and Pevara, who think that Theodrin will likely bond him.

Juilin Sandar: A Tairen thief-catcher who leads a squad of men at the Last Battle. They defend the Aes Sedai against the Sharans.

Kalyan Ramsin: A Saldaean noble who marries Queen Ethenielle. He leads several squads of Borderlanders during the Last Battle.

Karldin Manfor: An Asha'man loyal to Rand and bonded to Beldiene Nyram. He is killed fighting the Sharans.

Kiruna: Paitar's sister and a member of the Green Ajah sworn to Rand. She is killed during the Last Battle.

Ladwin: A member of the Band of the Red Hand who fights in the defence of Caemlyn.

Lan Mandragoran: Nynaeves's husband and the uncrowned king of Malkier. He kills Demandred during the battle.

Laras: Mistress of the kitchens in the White Tower. She brings Faile the Horn of Valere.

Leane: Aes Sedai who was Keeper under Siuan Sanche and stilled. Nynaeve Healed her enabling her to once again sense the Source.

Lelaine Akashi: Head of the Blue Ajah. She fights alongside Egwene in the Last Battle.

Liandrin: Formerly an Aes Sedai of the Black Ajah, now a da'covale in Tuon's attendance.

Lir Baryn: The High Seat of House Baryn in Andor. Disagreeing with Elayne's decision not to attempt retaking Caemlyn after it falls to Trollocs, he goes to visit the soldiers who are keeping an eye on the city.

Logain Ablar: A false Dragon who was gentled and Healed and became an Asha'man. He leads the faction loyal to the Light and gives up his dreams or revenge and domination to save refugees.

Loial: An Ogier who previously traveled with Rand and who is writing a history of the recent years.

Londraed: A member of the Band of the Red Hand who fights in the defence of Caemlyn.

Lunal Galgan: The Captain-General of the Seachan forces. Mat earns his respect for his military genius but Galgan still plans to try to assassinate Mat, as is Seanchan custom.

Lyrelle: A Sitter of the Blue Ajah. She is one of the group allowed into the Black Tower to bond Asha'man, though is not pleased that there will be only forty six men to choose from.

Mandarb: Lan's horse.

Mandevwin: A captain in the Band of the Red Hand, who goes with Faile and is insistent that neither Vanin nor Harnan are Darkfriends.

Mar: A member of the Band of the Red Hand who fights in the defence of Caemlyn.

Masuri: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah sworn to Rand. She Heals Perrin of his fatigue so that he can return to Tel'aran'rhiod

Mat Cauthon: Once a boy from the Two Rivers, now Prince of Ravens, he impregnates his wife and leads the armies of the Light at the Last Battle.

Melaine: An Aiel Wise One. She is heavily pregnant during the Last Battle so doesn't fight, instead helping out in Mayene.

M'Hael: The leader of the Asha'man who has been turning men to the Shadow. He is killed in battle by Egwene, but she draws too much of the Power to do so and dies herself.

Mezar Kurin: An Asha'man, formerly of Logain's faction, but turned to the Shadow by Taim.

Min Farshaw: A woman able to see auras and omens around people, given the title of Doomseer and made Tuon's Truthspeaker because of this. She is one of the four women bonded to Rand, and one of the three he loves.

Moghedien: One of the Forsaken. She disguises herself to spy in the Seanchan court but is exposed by Min and has to flee. She survives the Last Battle, but is taken damane.

Moiraine Damodred: The Aes Sedai who first discovered Rand in the Two Rivers. She was assumed dead by many but was rescued from the Tower of Ghenjei by Mat. Rand respects her and listens to her advice. She accompanies him to his battle with the Dark One.

Morgase Trakand: Elayne's mother and former queen of Andor. She directs the people who search the battlefield for survivors and weapons.

Moridin: One of the Forsaken. He tries to stop Rand, but is unable to and after Rand defeats the Dark One, somehow swaps bodies with him and dies in Rand's former body.

Musenge: One of the Deathwatch guard who stands watch and is present the morning after Mat and Tuon consummate their relationship.

Myrelle Berengari: An Aes Sedai sent to the Black Tower to bond Asha'man. She is disappointed to have been away from the White Tower during recent weeks because she missed opportunities for advancement.

Naeff: An Andoran Asha'man. He takes instructions from Rand to the Black Tower

Nesune: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah sworn to Rand. She fights at Shayol Ghul.

Noal Charin: Also known as Jain Farstrider, he is now a Hero of the Horn. He saves Olver when he is attacked by Trollocs.

Nynaeve al'Meara: An Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah who grew up in the same village as the Dragon Reborn. She is one of the two women he takes with him when he fights the Dark One.

Olver: An ugly, orphaned boy from Cairhien who travels with the Band of the Red Hand. He blows the Horn of Valere to recall the Heroes of the Horn from Tel'aran'rhiod.

Paitar: The King of Arafel, fighting with Lan at Tarwin's gap.

Perrin Aybara: The Lord of the Two Rivers. He defends the Pit of Doom in Tel'aran'rhiod, killing both Slayer and Cyndane to protect Rand.

Perival Mantear: The young High Seat of Mantear in Andor. He meets with Elayne following Caemlyn's fall to Trollocs.

Petra: Formerly a strongman in Valan Luca's Circus, now a Seanchan Guard in Ebou Dar.

Pevara Tazanovni: An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah double bonded to Androl Genhald. She helps Androl to free Logain and fights with him against the Shadow's armies.

Pips: Mat's horse.

Raechin: A sitter for the Red Ajah fighting at the Last Battle. She remarks to Leane that she would be interested in a way of making men do as she wished.

Raen: A Tuatha'an, and Aram's grandfather, he helps at the Battle of Merrilor by looking for survivors.

Rand al'Thor: The Dragon Reborn. After reforging the Dark One's prison, he swaps bodies with Moridin and walks off into anonymity, unable to channel, but able to directly affect the Pattern.

Renald Fanwar: A Shienaran farmer who fights at the Last Battle.

Rhuarc: Clan chief of the Tardaad Aiel. He falls to Hessalam's compulsion and is killed by Aviendha.

Rianna Andomeran: An Aes Sedai of the Black Ajah, formerly of the White, who is captured by the Ogier of Stedding Sholoon.

Rodel: One of the Great Captains, he leads the battle at Thakan'dar to defend the Pit of Doom, until he is attacked by Elyas before Hessalam's compulsion can cause him to lose the battle.

Rodrivar Tihera: A Tairen who takes over for Rodel when he is incapacitated.

Rogosh Eagle-Eye: One of the Heroes of the Horn, called back by Olver.

Romanda Cassin: An Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah who was one of the leaders in Salidar and a Sitter after reunification. She is killed by Sharans.

Rosil: An Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah, involved with the Healing in Mayene.

Rubinde: A Sitter for the Green Ajah who is one of the group to tell Cadsuane she has been selected as the next Amyrlin.

Saerin: A Sitter for the Brown Ajah who is one of the group to tell Cadsuane she has been selected as the next Amyrlin.

Sarene: An Aes Sedai of the White Ajah sworn to Rand. Hessalam takes control of her mind.

Sashalle Anderly: An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah Stilled at Dumeai's Wells. After being Healed by Damer Flinn she swore Fealty to Rand. At the Last Battle, she fought at Shayol Ghul and was seen falling to the ground in exhaustion near the end of the battle

Sebban Balwer: The former spymaster for the Children of the Light, then secretary to Perrin, he now serves the Dragon Reborn at the Field of Merrilor.

Seaine: A sitter for the White Ajah, the only one that was not involved in deposing Siuan that stayed. She is one of the women who goes to the Black Tower to look for Asha'man to bond, despite not being with the rebels when the original group went.

Selande: A Cairhienin noble and member of Cha Faile. After Vanin flees the group with Faile, she is put in charge of the scouts

Selucia: Voice and Truthspeaker to Fortuona. Her role as Truthspeaker is transferred to Min.

Serailla: Queen Ethenielle's advisor. she and Lan do not get along, but they manage to work together during the Last Battle.

Setalle Anan: A woman who was an Aes Sedai until she was burned out, then an innkeeper for twenty years. She goes with Faile to try and deliver the Horn to Mat.

Silviana Brehon: An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah and Egwene's Keeper of the Chronicles.

Siuan Sanche: A Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah, formerly the Amyrlin Seat, deposed, stilled and Healed. She is killed trying to save Mat from Demandred's assasins.

Sleete: Warder to Hadori, he brings Leilwyn and Bayle to Nyneave at the Field of Merrilor.

Sorilea: A Wise One, weak in the Power, but very influential. During the Last Battle she aids in the defence of Shayol Ghul. She survives

Sumeko: A member of the Kin skilled in Healing. Before the Last Battle moved to the Field of Merrilor, she organised other kinswomen to form gateways for transportation.

Talmanes Delovinde: A commander in the Band of the Red Hand, he leads them while Mat is in charge of the whole battle.

Tam al'Thor: Rand's father. He leads Perrin's combined forces when Perrin goes to fight Slayer.

Tenobia: The queen of Saldaea. She is killed at Tarwin's gap.

Teslyn Baradon: An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah exiled to Altara by Elaida. Teslyn did not find the Tower to her liking upon her return, and spent the Last Battle with the Dragonsworn instead of the Aes Sedai.

Theodrin Dabei: A woman raised to Aes Sedai by Egwene. She is one of the women who goes to the Black Tower, but she doesn't take a Warder there. She seems likely to bond Jonneth. She fights as part of Androl's group in the Last Battle.

Thom Merrilin: Moiraine's warder and husband, once a court bard in Caemlyn and then a gleeman, he spends the Last Battle outside the entrance to the Pit of Doom, guarding it.

Trom: A Lord Captain in the Children of the Light, killed during the Last Battle.

Toveine Gazal: An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah bonded to Logain. She was Turned.

Tuon: The Empress of Seanchan, married to Mat Cauthon. Also known as Fortuona.

Turne: A mercenary, recruited by Perrin. He fights in the Last Battle

Tylee Khirgan: Lieutenant-General in the Seanchan army. Mat respects her abilities.

Uno Nomesta: A Shienaran serving in the White Tower army who is promoted to captain.

Urien: A siswai'man. Hee tells Mat he has bet that Mat will will the battle.

Vanin: A scout in the Band of the Red Hand. He accidentally discovers the Horn of Valere when looking for tabac. He helps free captives taken by the Trollocs and tries to help Faile escape with the Horn of Valere.

Varil Nensen: An Asha'man of Taim's faction by choice. He has been bonded by Alviarin.

Verdin: A member of the Band of the Red Hand traveling with Faile.

Vitalien: Sarene's warder, killed by Hessalam.

Welyn Kajima: An Asha'man, formerly of Logain's faction who was turned to the Shadow.
