Merk: One of Renald's farm hands. He goes north with Renald when they follow Thulin.

Milisair Chadmar: A member of the Domani merchant council and was the first of the council to be apprehended by the Aiel under Rand's orders

Mirala: A Shienaran woman, the daughter of Thulin and Gallanha. She goes north with them when Thulin abandons his forge to find an army.

Callswell: A Domani Lord that Ramshalan was heard boasting to that he could manipulate Rand.

Carlya: Elaida's maid.

Chai Rugan: a member of the Black Ajah on Verin's list

Ciar: A sul'dam present when Semirhage attacked Rand while posing as the Daughter of the Nine Moons.

Doreille: A queen of Aridhol, known as a poet. It is unlikely she is Doreille Torghin the first queen as Mat has a memory of her.

Eleyan al'Landerin: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah in ancient times.

Finndal: Andoran noble that was present at a banquet attended by Rodel Ituralde while Thom was still court bard in Caemlyn.

Gaffin: A Shienaran man who knows Renald Fanwar.

Garken: An old man in Hinderstap killed by Barlden on the first night the village fell to the madness. He got better.

Habiger: An Altaran that Beslan conspires with when plotting rebellion against the empire in the Three Stars Inn.

Jamilila Norsish An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah who wasn't on Verin's list but who hadn't proven herself to not be of the Black Ajah.

Jorlen Corbesan: An Aes Sedai in the Age of Legends. He was able to make ter'angreal and ran the research facility of the Sharom.

Malalin: A noble that Beslan conspires with when plotting rebellion against the empire in the Three Stars Inn.

Marthera An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah captured by the Seanchan during the raid on the Tower.

Marthea: a Shaido Maiden killed during the fall of Malden. She had been Arrela's lover

Adelorna Bastine: The Head of the Green Ajah in the Tower

In the Gathering Storm, she helps Egwene defend the Tower against the Seanchan and is sufficiently impressed that she advocates raising her Amyrlin.

Alanna Mosvani: An Arafellin Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah who bonded Rand against his will then found herself unable to use the bond to control him

In the Gathering Storm, Rand sees her with the Tairen nobles when he visits Darlin.

Alivia: A former Seanchan damane, freed by Rand and now loyal to him. Min has seen that she will help Rand die.

In the Gathering Storm, she accompanies Cadsuane and Nynaeve when they first tell Rand of their experiences with Semirhage.

Alviarin Freidhen: An Aes Sedai of the White and Black Ajahs, formerly Elaida's Keeper, but fallen from that position and in disgrace.

In the Gathering Storm, she tries to persuade Egwene to work with her, but is turned down. She is on Verin's list of Black Ajah members, but flees before she can be arrested

Amys: A Wise One who can channel and Dreamwalk, married to Rhuarc.

In the Gathering Storm, she helps come up with novel punishments to encourage Aviendha to fight back and is frequently in the company of Sorilea and Cadsuane.

Anaiyella Narencelona: A Tairen High Lady who has been a supporter of Rand.

In the Gathering Storm she is among the gathered High Lords and Ladies when Rand meets with Darlin. She seems to be involved with Weiramon.

Andaya Forae: An Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah who was chosen to be a replacement Sitter.

In the Gathering Storm she is chosen to summon Egwene and tell her they have decided to raise her Amyrlin.

Ankaer: A Domani noble, fighting with Rodel.

He is killed by a trolloc arrow when returning to Ebou Dar

Bayle Domon: An Illianer, formerly a smuggler and ship's captain, taken prisoner and made da'covale before being bought by Egeanin who he later married.

In the Gathering Storm, he is still with Mat's group, though he, Egeanin and Aludra have formed their own mini-camp and he makes sure that Aludra is not bothered unless she wants to be.

Beldeine Nyram: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah, initially loyal to the Tower who was captured at Dumai's Wells and later bonded Karldin Manfor.

In the Gathering Storm, she is seen dismissing Min's interpretation of one of the prophecies and rather than apologise when Cadsuane reveals Min is correct, leaves the room.

Bennae Nalsad: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah who learned about the Secret Histories after Egwene revealed her knowledge.

In the Gathering Storm, she asks Egwene's advice on how to get out of the trouble that revealing her new found knowledge has got her into. She later encourages Egwene to join the Brown.

Beralna: A Maiden of the Spear

In the Gathering Storm she is one of the Maidens with Rand and guards Milisair Chadmar.

Berana: An Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah, who was raised Sitter in Salidar.

In the Gathering Storm, she cries out in shock when Egwene shields Sheriam.

In the Gathering Storm, he comes into Romanda's tent when it is over-run by four spine roaches, but there is nothing he can do.

Caraline Damodred: A Cairhienin noble, fated to marry Darlin.

In the Gathering Storm, she is with the nobles Darlin has assembled when Rand tells them they will be marching to Shayol Ghul.

Cariandre: Cariandre is an Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah

In the Gathering Storm, she is one of the Reds that is set to guard Egwene's room.

Chel Vanin: A former Andoran poacher and now a scout in the Band of the Red Hand.

Corana: A Maiden of the Spear, with the Aiel in Arad Doman.

In The Gathering Storm, Corana brings news of the Seanchan having shattered the Shaido and taken their Wise Ones damane. She feels this is enough for blood oath and is angry that Rand wishes a truce with them.

Corele Hovian: An Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah who chose to follow Cadsuane rather than choosing a side during the split. She is bonded to Damer Flinn.

In the Gathering Storm, she frequently accompanies and supports Cadsuane.

Covarla: An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah who escaped Dumai's Wells and waited in Dorlan.

In the Gathering Storm, she remains in Dorlan and threatens Gawyn with replacement as leader of the Younglings if he continues to try and interfere with the Aes Sedai.

Daigian Moseneillin: A Cairhienin Aes Sedai of the White Ajah, very weak in the Power and allied with Cadsuane

Davram Bashere: A Saldaean general and Faile's father, now serving Rand.

Edesina Azzedin: An Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah, loyal to the rebels and made damane by the Seanchan. She was freed by Mat.

In the Gathering Storm, she accompanies Mat into Hinderstap, where she Heals Delarn.

Egeanin Sarna: A Seanchan woman, once raised to the Low Blood, now cast down by Tuon and renamed Leilwyn Shipless for helping the damane escape.

In the Gathering Storm, she and Bayle spend their time with Aludra. She is regrowing her hair and continues to only answer to Leilwyn.

Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan: The Amyrlin Seat in the Tower.

In the Gathering Storm, her behaviour becomes ever more extreme until she is formally censured. She is taken captive by the Seanchan and made damane before this can go any further.

Elmindreda Farshaw: A Young Andoran woman capable of seeing prophetic auras around people, she is Rand al'Thor's lover.

In the Gathering Storm, she works with Cadsuane to help Rand and reads books of prophecy to see if she can work out what he must do. She tells him the Seals must be destroyed. After Semirhage uses her to hurt Rand, she realises that she may be a weakness that can be used against him.

Elza Penfell: Elza is an Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah from Illian that was captured and Dumai's Wells and swore to Rand.

In the Gathering Storm, Elza was killed by balefire when she helped Semirhage capture Rand but he freed himself.

Erian Boroleos: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah who was captured at Dumai's Wells and later swore fealty to Rand.

In the Gathering Storm, she joins Cadsuane's camp after Rand's trust of Aes Sedai drops.

Estanda: A Tairen high lady who was in rebellion against Rand until he agreed to raise Darlin to King of Tear.

In the Gathering Storm she is among the gathered High Lords and Ladies when Rand meets with Darlin.

Faile Bashere: A noblewoman from Saldaea, now Perrin's wife and previously held captive by the Shaido.

In the Gathering Storm, she tries to adjust to freedom with Perrin and holds a ceremony to mourn the Aiel who died protecting them.

Falendre: A sul'dam present when Semirhage attacks Rand

Rand sends her to request a new meeting with Tuon, which she does.

Fen Mizar: One of Joline's Warders

In the Gathering Storm, he helps carry the serving girls out of Hinderstap, rather than helping Mat fight and was responsible for guarding them when they vanished at sunrise.

Ferane Neheran: Head of the White Ajah in the Tower.

In the Gathering Storm, she questions Egwene to see what Egwene thinks she would have done better than Elaida and eventually is impressed enough that she is one of the initiators of the idea to raise her to Amyrlin Seat.

Fergin: A member of the Band of the Red Hand

In the Gathering Storm, Mat intends to take him into Trustair, posing as an apprentice gleeman.

Furyk Karede: A Banner general in the Deathwatch Guard who was previously in Tuon's personal bodyguard.

In the Gathering Storm, he is with Tuon when she meets Beslan and also commanding her bodyguard when she meets Rand.

Gareth Bryne: An Andoran general, now leader of the Rebel Aes Sedai's armies.

In the Gathering Storm he is bonded by Siuan and helps her rescue Egwene from the Tower, against his advice. As a condition of bonding, he makes her agree to marry him when he asks.

Gawyn Trakand: Elayne's brother. During the Tower Coup, he organised the trainees to fight for Elaida and formed a company from them, the Younglings.

In the Gathering Storm, he realises that the Aes Sedai could remove him at their whim and when he learns Egwene is the rebel Amyrlin and is captive, abandons them to join the rebels. He helps Siuan rescue Egwene

Gerard Arganda: The first Captain of Alliandre's bodyguard and also first captain of the reconstituted Leigon of the Wall. He reluctantly follows Perrin while Alliandre is taken by the Shaido.

In the Gathering Storm he implores Perrin to give Alliandre special treatment so that she may go home, but Perrin refuses

Graendal: One of the Forsaken who made her home in Arad Doman.

In the Gathering Storm, Rand tracks her down to Natrin's Barrow and after confirming she is there, destroys the fortress with balefire.
